More: Sarah Michelle Gellar gets another shot at television
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress is gearing up for her role in an upcoming installment of Whitney Avalon's YouTube Princess Rap Battles (which looks like it's going to be the blonde princesses against the brunette ones), and she posted pictures of herself on Twitter dressed as Disney's Cinderella.
However, just because she occasionally likes to play dress-up as "Cindy" does not mean that she approves of beauty pageants.

"On the subject of 'Princesses', can we finally end beauty pageants? Cruelty to humans? Let's never forget 'The Iraq'" she tweeted, along with the then-trending hashtag #MissUniverse.

In case you're not familiar with what "The Iraq" is, the actress is referring the major flub that happened on live TV during Miss Teen USA 2007 with Miss South Carolina.
Her question was, "Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is?" And the answer was so bad that it perhaps justifies Gellar's comments on human cruelty, because that poor girl must have been completely mortified with her answer.
