Lea Michele and Cory Monteith play on-again, off-again lovers on Glee, but it sounds as if the stars' real-life relationship hasn't been quite as, well, gleeful.
The Buzz - Cory Monteith Admits Himself to Rehab

The Glee star admits to substance abuse.

Cory Monteith is going to rehab, and Lea Michele is proud.

"I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this," she told People. "I am grateful and proud he made this decision."

After dating secretly for some time, the pair started holding hands in front of the paparazzi last spring and have been seen dashing around Los Angeles together, most recently at a Los Angeles Kings game March 23, People reports.

They've been all smiles for the cameras, such as at a fancy-shmancy date to the PaleyFest Icon Awards at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills .

The two even went away for a weekend to Vancouver to celebrate a friend's wedding in March. March 17, Michele tweeted "Perfect weekend getaway in Vancouver:) I love it here.." and Canadian Cory tweeted, "amazing weekend back in van for my buddy’s wedding!! I even got up the hill afterwards! perf day."

Michele hasn't been shy about showing her love for Monteith, either, telling Marie Claire, "I don’t even remember a time when he wasn’t my boyfriend. No one knows me better than Cory. No one knows what it’s been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther. He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."

She told People, "He really, really inspires me, and he motivates me and I think he's just so talented."

20th Century Fox, Glee's production company, also relayed its support to Monteith, saying in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter,"Cory is a beloved member of the Glee family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment. Everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return."
