Evil Dead leaves bloodstains at the box office

With blood raining down to create a nightmarish storm of depravity, Evil Dead spewed $26 million at the box office, proving that Americans have a dark side. Skewing toward testosterone-riddled humans, the audience for this freak-fest was — unsurprisingly — 56 percent male.

If only Dennis Rodman could work some more basketball diplomacy and get North Korea's 28-year-old leader Kim Jong-un to make movies, not war. We'd all feel a bit more secure.
