Kendra on Top: Kendra is betrayed, again, by someone unexpected

A bumpy return

Kendra On Top

To recap, when Kendra returned from an idyllic trip to Costa Rica last week, during which she reconciled with her estranged father, she stepped right into drama created by her other recently reconciled parent, her mom Patti.

And while Kendra's reunion with baby Alijah is adorable, the one between Kendra and Hank — who came home from Costa Rica a day before she did — feels awkward at best.

Still, when Hank brings up his parents and how grateful they were to have spent time with Alijah, it's clear that Kendra is struggling with more than her feelings about Hank.

His parents, who she explains "have been amazing," are the unseen family members Kendra is fighting to hold onto. To be honest, it makes me feel more empathetic toward Hank, knowing he comes from such good people.

Things are looking up

Kendra on Top

Before Hank leaves to head back to his apartment, he gives baby Alijah a kiss and then kisses Kendra's forehead. Call me a sucker, but I got a little heart pang.

Surely anyone who has gone through a tricky breakup can relate, right? You want them, but you don't. You're angry, yet there's still so much love there.

What seems like five seconds later, Kendra is excited about a potential TV job in Australia, as it could pay her way as a single mom.

The lunch meeting with the TV show producer seems to go well, and Kendra basically bounces to couples' therapy musing about "the next step" in her career.

A couples' therapy breakthrough

Kendra On Top

But while waiting for their session to start, Kendra scrolls across a tabloid headline reading "Mom lashes out!" This, says Kendra, is the ultimate betrayal.

As Hank tries to comfort Kendra, who vows her relationship with her mom is over, their therapist calls them in.

And in that seemingly tiny room filled with wall diplomas and emotional strife, Kendra has an epiphany:

Her mom is an example of someone who wants to hurt her. Hank is not.

"I don't want to be mad at him anymore. I want to know the truth and be OK with the truth and accept it," Kendra says. Then, naturally, the therapist asks what we all want to know: Is she getting the truth?

Well, not in this therapy session, she's not.

A last first date

Kendra on Top

The therapist suggests the couple rekindle their trust by going on a date night.

When Hank shows up with flowers to pick Kendra up, admittedly, I do find myself kind of rooting for these two.

I'm not alone, either. Their best friends, Jessica and Kyle, seem totally starry-eyed, which once again begs the question: With so many good people having his back, could Hank really be a bad guy?

Before long, Hank and Kendra arrive at the restaurant, and at first, Kendra doesn't seem to listen to her husband. But Hank's got some tricks up his sleeve still, and he pulls out a big, beautiful, yellow diamond friendship ring.

Kendra softens a bit. Still, she sticks to her guns — she has to know the truth.

Could this be it? Finally?

"I'm sorry, Kendra. I'm sorry that you were ever put in this situation. Kendra, I messed up. I made shit happen, and I'm sorry for all this," Hank says.

Wait, hold on. That wasn't it, was it?

For a brief moment, I believe there might actually be more coming — until Kendra grabs the ring and proposes that Hank move back in.

The future of Kendra and Hank

Kendra and Hank

While the romantic part of me wants to be happy for them, the rational side of me says it's just too soon and there are far too many unanswered questions.

"Without the work, Kendra and Hank are bound to end up where they started and will likely break up," explains SheKnows Dating and Relationship Expert Andrea Syrtash. "Moreover, if Hank has fantasies to be with men, this should be confronted and explored."

If Kendra and Hank do take the time to sort through their issues, though, a lasting reconciliation is possible, says Syrtash.

"With open communication and work, it's possible for a couple to rebuild their relationship after an affair. In some cases, it can even bring the couple closer, because it shines a light on each person's needs and sometimes cultivates communication," she elaborated.

The key, for Kendra, will be in moving forward, not backward.

"Kendra can believe Hank and her marriage, but she shouldn't revert to old ways of avoidance," says Syrtash. "Things will never be the same, and the two need to keep building trust, respect and communication."

Unfortunately, they aren't taking the time and putting in the ground work. And that, says SheKnows' Parenting Expert Vera Sweeney, could spell impending doom — and potential heartbreak for the kids.

"Unfortunately for Little Hank, I can't see this family staying together much longer, even though it looks like they are moving in the right direction," she says.

"Hank will move back in while Kendra is still uncertain and unsteady. This will only lead to more arguments and unhappiness in front of their beautiful children. Even if it doesn't lead to an immediate split, it will lead to turmoil at home, which isn't healthy for anyone," Sweeney says.

Of course, whether Kendra and Hank will survive this remains to be seen — we certainly don't have a clear picture as Season 3 of Kendra on Top ends.

And even though I (like many viewers, I imagine) am a bit frustrated that Hank managed to stretch his avoidance of a confession till the end, I feel like — if nothing else — Kendra's final remarks prove that she is in a better place.

"For years, I always said I will never forgive anyone. I don't believe in second chance. You are who you are. I don't believe in mistakes," she says. "I can honestly say I've changed... I'm a believer now."

Bill Cosby rape accusations: A timeline of his career downfall

2004: Andrea Constand, director of operations for Temple University's women's basketball team, alleges that what began as a mentorship turned into a visit to Cosby's home where he drugged her, then "touched her breasts and vaginal area, rubbed his penis against her hand, and digitally penetrated" her, according to court documents.

2005: Lawyer Tamara Green appears on the Today Show and alleges that in the 1970s, Cosby tricked her into taking what she thought was fever medication and drove her to her apartment where he began "…groping me and kissing me and touching me and handling me and… taking off my clothes." He later left $200 on her nightstand. Cosby's lawyer issues a statement saying the incident did not happen.

A Pennsylvania district attorney declines to press charges against Cosby in the Constand case, citing a lack of evidence. She files a civil suit against him, and 13 other women are named as Jane Doe witnesses. Many of these women later go public with their own stories.

2006: Cosby and Constand settle the lawsuit for an undisclosed sum. People publishes an interview with Barbara Bowman, who detailed her own alleged assault at the hands of Cosby.

Oct. 16, 2014: The accusations were all but forgotten until a video of comedian Hannibal Buress calling Cosby a rapist during a standup bit goes viral. "Bill Cosby has the f***ing smuggest old black man public persona that I hate," Buress says. "'Pull your pants up, black people, I was on TV in the '80s. I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom.' Yeah, but you raped women, Bill Cosby. So, brings you down a couple notches… I've done this bit onstage and people think I'm making it up... when you leave here, Google 'Bill Cosby rape.' That shit has more results than 'Hannibal Buress.'"

Oct. 27, 2014: Bowman reiterates many of the details from her original People interview to the Daily Mail, and says she kept seeing Cosby because her mother wanted her to.

Nov. 6, 2014: Cosby is caught on tape trying to intimidate an AP reporter into "scuttling" footage of him, refusing to comment on any of the rape allegations. "If you want to consider yourself to be serious, it will not appear anywhere," he says.

Nov. 10, 2014: In a misguided attempt at restorative PR, Cosby's team tweets a request that fans create a meme out of a photo of the actor. It did not go well.

Nov. 17, 2014: Cosby releases a statement through his lawyer that says he won't talk about the resurfaced accusations after he clams up when asked about it on NPR's Weekend Edition.

Another alleged victim, Joan Tarshis, steps forward, penning an essay for Hollywood Elsewhere.

Nov. 18, 2014: Whoopi Goldberg stands up for her old friend and says she has "a lot of questions" for alleged victim Bowman.

Janice Dickinson tells Howard Stern that Cosby drugged and raped her in 1982, and that she was pressured into changing the story in her autobiography.

Nov. 19, 2014: TV Land pulls The Cosby Show from its lineup, Netflix postpones an upcoming comedy special and NBC announces it is canceling Cosby's upcoming sitcom.

Don Lemon engages in some serious victim blaming while interviewing Tarshis, asking why she didn't fight back harder during the alleged attack.

Nov. 20, 2014: Three additional women go public with sexual assault claims going back decades. Theresa Seringese alleges Cosby drugged and raped her in 1976; she was to be a witness in the 2005 civil suit. Carla Ferrigno, wife of Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno, says Cosby forcibly grabbed and kissed her at a 1967 party when she was a teenager. Love, American Style actress Louisa Moritz tells TMZ Cosby forced her to perform oral sex in the green room of The Tonight Show in 1971.

Singer again denies the claims, saying, "People are trying to come up with these wild stories in order to justify why they have waited 40 to 50 years to disclose these ridiculous accusations."

Cosby calls himself an "evil man" during a performance in the Bahamas to raise money, ironically enough, for a women's group.

Nov. 21, 2014 Another three accusers step forward with stories dating back years: Kristina Ruehli from 1965, Renita Chaney Hill from a period of four years in the '80s and Angelina Leslie from 1992.

The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and the Virginia Theatre in Illinois cancel planned appearances by Cosby, but he receives a standing ovation after a performance at a sold-out show in Florida. He tells Florida Today, "I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn't have to answer to innuendos. People should fact-check. People shouldn't have to go through that and shouldn't answer to innuendos."

Nov. 22, 2014 Tweets purporting to be from former Cosby Show star Lisa Bonet, with whom Cosby had a notoriously tempestuous relationship, imply that karma is coming back to bite him. "According to the karma of past actions, one's destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky," read the tweet. "Nothing stays in the dark 4ever!" The account is later disabled and Bonet claims through a rep that it was run by an imposter.

Nov. 23, 2014 A former Cosby Show employee claims he was the comedian's fixer, in charge of delivering payouts to eight different women and standing guard outside of Cosby's dressing room while he was alone with young models.

Carmen Electra's stylist stole $100,000 from her

Carmen Electra's comments about ex Dennis Rodman don't surprise us (VIDEO)

New reports claim that Electra's stylist seriously took advantage of her client and decided to go on shopping sprees with Electra's money, for herself. According to TMZ, the Scary Movie 4 star claims that she hired Shayoon Aboo as her personal stylist in April 2013 and supplied her with her credit cards so that she could go shopping for bags, accessories, clothing and shoes for her, but Aboo reportedly had other plans.

TMZ reports that according to a new lawsuit filed by Electra, Aboo allegedly decided to keep some of the items for herself — and it wasn't just one or two small items, either — apparently she managed to rack up a whopping bill of more than $100,000 worth of new clothes and accessories.

So, how did Aboo get busted? She apparently decided to take to social media and flaunt her goodies, which incriminated her, but reports claim that Electra discovered that she had been swindled when she was going through her credit card statements. She then demanded that Aboo either return or pay for the items of clothing.

Electra's attorney, Neama Rahmani, revealed to TMZ that Aboo "tried to take advantage of a friendship" and now Electra wants her to pay it all back.

The gossip outlet also claims that they have reached out to Aboo for comment but have not heard back.

Raelia shares deets on her shocking elimination

SheKnows: What surprised you most while watching this week’s episode?

Shei Phan: The thing I was most surprised about watching last night's episode was the photo they chose for me. In the panel, you saw that I was very upset with it. I knew I took way better photos and the one they chose was not my best photo. And it was the reason I went home.

SK: How were things in the house before you left?

SP: Things in the house were great. I love them all and after Chantelle got sent home, it was back to normal and we had fun for the remaining time of being there.

SK: What's one thing viewers didn't see that happened behind the scenes that you'll never forget/that you wished they would have aired on the show?

SP: Well, there was a lot of funny moments we had that I wished was aired. And there was a lot of things where I gave my opinion and that wasn't aired either. I was underrated.

Who did Denzel think would win? We found out!

SK: Are you surprised you got eliminated? What would you have done differently?

SP: I had a feeling it was coming, but I was excepting to make it longer than Adam. I would have been more entertaining, because that's why Adam stayed longer than me. I tried my best and worked very hard in every challenge and photo shoot. I didn't try to be anything but myself.

SK: Who on the show will you continue to keep in touch with and why?

SP: I will continue to stay in touch with everyone but Chantelle and Romeo. We did not get along in the house, so I know we will not get along outside of it. The rest of the cast has become my family and we build strong relationships.

SK: Who do you predict will win? Who do you want to win?

SP: I predict Keith will win. I want Will to win!

Was a bad picture really to blame for Phan's ANTM demise or was it simply her time to go? That's debatable. But, we're definitely on the same page with Will and Keith!

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: 13 Things about Tina Fey's Netflix show

1. The show stars Ellie Kemper, not Tina Fey

Ellie Kemper

Talk about opposites! Fey is known for her sarcastic, dark-edged humor, while Kemper is seen as the sweet, sometimes ditzy, girl next door. Kemper is best known for her role as Erin, the fun-spirited receptionist on The Office. Kimmy Schmidt seems like a similar type of character.

Is it a food or a sex position? Sex Tape cast plays our game

2. Kimmy Schmidt ditches her cult for NYC

In the new show, Kimmy has recently left a cult after 15 years of sheltered living. We expect a lot of comedic scenarios based around the fast pace of the the Big Apple.

3. Her cult may have thought the apocalypse happened

In a press release put out by Netflix, they say Kimmy Schmidt is "ready to take on a world she didn't even think existed anymore." To us, that implies her cult thought they were the last humans on earth. Boy, is Kimmy in for a big surprise!

4. Kimmy Schmidt arrives in New York with these three items

The only survival gear Kimmy has are a backpack, light-up sneakers and some very past-due library books. She'll need to get to Target and H&M right away.

5. Actress Jane Krakowski also stars

Jane Krakowski

The fabulous Jane Krakowski, who we loved as the outlandish Jenna on 30 Rock, will play Kimmy's boss. Happy dance!

6. Tituss Burgess plays Kimmy's roommate

Also from 30 Rock, Burgess will no doubt help Ellie navigate life in the big city. With Burgess' Broadway background, we can easily assume he'll be playing a struggling actor.

7 Dark secrets about the real Peter Pan include suicide and pedophilia

7. The show was originally developed for NBC

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was supposed to be the peacock's mid-season replacement, but they nixed it altogether in a surprising breakup, considering NBC has been Fey's only network since she began on SNL.

8. Netflix has agreed to two seasons

In a bold, and we think wise, move, Netflix ordered two seasons of the show. Can anyone say "binge"?

9. Available in March 2015

A Netflix account could make a great holiday gift for any Tina Fey fan, assuming you have friends and family members who still haven't jumped on the streaming bandwagon.

10. Executive producer Robert Carlock is also joining Tina Fey

While Robert Carlock may not be a household name, you know his work as a writer on both SNL and 30 Rock.

Do we really need another Peter Pan story?

11. Emmy-winner Carol Kane will appear

Carol Kane

If you've ever watched reruns of Taxi, you'll certainly remember Kane as Simka, Latka's (Andy Kaufman) girlfriend. We're excited to see her in a new show, though we don't exactly know what type of role she'll be playing.

12. The original title was Tooken

The working title was inspired by a viral video where an Auto-Tuned voice sang about girls getting taken, presumably by a cult.

13. Ellie Kemper finds cults fascinating

Kemper told People magazine that, "I will be doing some cult research over the summer because it is fascinating." Hopefully, funny too.

Anna Kendrick has a perfect formula for drunk tweeting

Who says Anna Kendrick isn't pretty? Well, here's our response to you

As a hilarious example, Kendrick tweeted her thoughts on Fifty Shades of Grey (as it relates to Love Actually) last week. But Kendrick does have one rule when it comes to tweeting.

"I drunk draft and double check them in the morning," she told E! News, adding that this change came only after she learned her lesson. "Although I have done a handful of drunk tweets and so far people have not been able to tell the difference although I'm not quite sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing that my sober tweets could be drunk tweets."

The actress has plenty of young fans, especially with her Pitch Perfect and Disney roles and she needs to watch what she says. And she has also learned what her 3 million followers respond to, which has been an eye opener for her.

"It's funny because I feel like when I try to say something really innocuous, those are the ones where people are like, ‘What do you mean by that?'" Kendrick explained. "Sometimes, I just say something kind of gross, kind of honest, maybe a little too brutal. Those are the ones people respond to more.

"It's when you try to say something that's a little too squeaky clean that people are like, 'What's that? What are you doing? What's going on?'"

Pitch Perfect 2: 8 Aca-awesome scenes from the first trailer (VIDEO)

You can see Anna Kendrick next in Into the Woods, in theaters Christmas Day. Pitch Perfect 2 will be out May 15, 2015.

Justin Bieber makes more than Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lawrence combined

Justin Bieber's new DUI defense: A hairline hullabaloo

Bieber raked in a whopping $80 million this year. That's more than Jennifer Lawrence, who cashed in at $34 million, and Miley Cyrus, who made a cool $36 million, combined.

He earned most of that money from the end of his worldwide tour, which wrapped up at the beginning of this year.

Not only is he the highest earning person on the list, he's also the youngest at 20 years old. (We're counting One Direction as a collective. Their average age is 21.)

PHOTO: Justin Bieber bares full-teeth grin in mug shot

Bieber's success is a prime example that money is far from everything and definitely won't make you happy. Despite Bieber's money-making success, the singer has had a rough year. He was caught on video using the N-word, charged with vandalism for egging his neighbor's house, busted for a DUI following a Miami drag race and more.

Another celeb who made the list and sets the opposite example to that of Bieber? Taylor Swift, of course, raking in $64 million for 2014. Thanks to record sales and sponsorships from Diet Coke and CoverGirl, the pop princess is now taking on the world. No doubt, she'll rank even higher next year when she tours for her album, 1989. As No. 3 on the list behind Bieber and One Direction, Swift is the leading lady on the Forbes list.

VIDEOS: 4 Brattiest moments from Justin Bieber's deposition

The others on the list? Bruno Mars at $60 million, Rihanna at $48 million, Lady Gaga at $28 million, Avicii at $28 million and Skrillex at $18 million. Moral of the story: The music industry is where it's at if you want to make the big bucks. Lawrence is the only one who made the list without a record label. But she needed the help of a few of the biggest franchises in the world to get her there.

Are you surprised Justin Bieber topped the list?

Kourtney Kardashian's Instagram post has us worried for her relationship

Would Kim Kardashian mind if her daughter followed in her naked footsteps?

Kardashian posted a picture from the classic Disney film, Lilo & Stitch, with the quote, "If you want to leave, you can. I'll remember you, though. I remember everyone that leaves." Kardashian captioned the photo with a broken heart.

Kourtney Kardashian Lilo & Stitch Instagram post

Kourtney Kardashian Lilo & Stitch Instagram post

Kardashian is currently pregnant with the couple's third child together. She is getting ready to give birth.

As we've seen in their reality show, Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons, Kardashian and Disick are having relationship struggles. Disick lost both his parents during the first part of 2014, which led him on a downward spiral of partying and drinking. On a recent episode of the show, Disick had his stomach pumped at the hospital after drinking too much and swallowing an entire bottle of sleeping pills.

Kendall Jenner reveals her parents' divorce really "sucked"

Still, the couple has been fighting this together and Disick promised to stay sober until Kardashian gave birth at the end of this year.

But during the show, Kardashian said, "I feel like he's angry. He's like, 'The biggest problem is me and you and we need to be civil for the kids.' I'm like 'I can't deal with you.' And he's like, 'Fair enough. We need to figure out a plan how I can see them.'"

She added that they'll discuss the relationship "once he's in a better place."

Is Kim Kardashian's deep dark secret really that shocking?

Remember, the show is behind real life, meaning what we're seeing each week in the episode isn't indicative of what the couple is currently going through, which is why Kardashian's Instagram post seems like such bad news for the two who have been together since 2006.

Is it possible that they broke up while Disick was in rehab?

Warner Bros. bans 2 huge players from The Flash and Arrow

$

Who's hotter? Stephen Amell vs. Colton Haynes

Namely, io9 has confirmed that Superman and Batman are off-limits, according to The Flash and Arrow executive producer, Andrew Kreisberg.

At a recent fan screening of The Flash and Arrow crossover, Kreisberg explained, "There are things we can do, and there are things we can't. I'm a huge fan of Nightwing. But there are cities we can use, and then there's everything else. You won't be hearing Gotham or Metropolis on the show any time soon."

And no Gotham and no Metropolis means no Batman and no Superman, respectively.

About time! Arrow finally gives Oliver a mask

As io9 points out, Kreisberg doesn't mention the characters by name, only the cities, but it doesn't make sense that the shows could use the characters, but not the cities. It stands to reason that Kreisberg's point is these DC cities and the characters in them are off-limits.

We're guessing Warner Bros. — who is DC Comics' parent company — wants to save Superman and Batman for the big screen. With Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set to release in 2016, the studio likely doesn't want to draw any hype away from that upcoming character depiction.

We have to admit: We get it. But that doesn't mean we're happy about it, just like Kreisberg seems disappointed he can't do anything with Nightwing.

VIDEO: The Flash trailer teases Arrow bromance

We can all reconcile with the fact that we do get to indulge in Arrow and The Flash simultaneously. And their team-up/throw down is going to be epic. This is the first time the two characters will meet following Barry's transformation from regular boy into superhero. Things were never exactly smooth sailing for these two, but we have a good feeling things are definitely going to heat up. But, since they are heroes after all, they'll find a way to work together in the end. "Flash vs. Arrow" will air on Dec. 2 at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.

Halle Berry sues ex in racially-charged parenting dispute

Halle Berry wants to make your boobs look fantastic

The Daily Mail reports that Gabriel Aubry, the father of Berry's 6-year-old daughter, Nahla, made "completely and totally unacceptable" racial comments about Berry and straightened and dyed their daughter's natural hair.

Halle contended in court that lightening and straightening Nahla's hair caused the child "potential psychological and physical damage" and made her wonder "why her natural appearance is not good enough." The judge for the case ruled today that neither parent can change anything about Nahla's hair going forward.

A note in the court documents referred to comments made by another judge in the former couple's recent custody case, reading, "The racial epithet made by Petitioner was and is completely and totally unacceptable. Nahla is a child of both of these parents, making this sort of comment about Respondent affect the very core and being of Nahla. And when Petitioner attacked Respondent for what she is and who she is, he was attacking Nahla because Nahla is part Respondent. And Nahla is part Petitioner. So when Petitioner did those things, that does serious damage to Nahla because he is attacking her core being, who she is."

According to the Daily Mail, a source close to the family said Halle decided to take her ex to court after Nahla returned from visiting him with lighter hair that was damaged from being straightened.

"Halle kept asking and asking Gabriel about Nahla's hair and he kept denying it," the insider said. "What does this say to a six year old who's half black? Her father is denying her identity. Halle then filed the court papers and Nahla's curls came back."

Halle also collected samples of Nahla's hair and had them analyzed by a lab to confirm that they had been dyed and straightened, according to the court documents.

Halle Berry: We aren't the only species in existence

Halle and Gabriel split in 2010 after four years together. Their lengthy custody dispute over Nahla, their only daughter, included a judge banning Halle from moving with Nahla to France.

The Daily Mail reports that Halle is also seeking to reduce her monthly child support payments; currently, she pays Gabriel $16,000 monthly and she's seeking to reduce that amount to $3,800, documents show.

"I continue to hope that Gabriel and I can find a way to work together to be successful co-parents," she wrote in court papers. "It was with regret that I concluded that I had to seek the court's intervention on these issues, but until Gabriel recognizes the meaning of joint legal custody and how it is implemented, it appears that the court will be my only resort to safeguard Nahla's best interests."

7 Hilariously heartless tweets about the Robin Thicke-Paula Patton divorce

Pretty much everyone who took in the 2013 VMAs got the heebie-jeebies watching the 38-year-old man allow a then-21-year-old Miley Cyrus use his leg as a stripper pole. Things only got worse as his marriage to his high school sweetheart, Paula Patton, began to unravel.

Though Thicke tried to play off the flak he got for his sexually charged performance with a much younger woman as nothing more than a publicity stunt, it's starting to look like there may have been some truth in his dance with the infamous foam finger. Turns out, he does fancy his women youthful.

Now, Thicke is publicly dating a young model named April Love Geary, who is only 19 years old, according to TMZ. The new couple isn't trying to hide their love, either. Thicke and Geary have been seen out and about together with his young son in tow, and Geary, who is a model signed with IMG Worldwide, according to her Instagram account, has posted a series of selfies of herself enjoying the spoils of dating a celebrity.

April Love Geary

The kicker? Thanks to TMZ's investigative work comparing Geary's photos with snaps of Patton and Thicke's house from the real estate company listing the home after Patton filed for divorce, it's evident that the pics (which have now been removed) were all taken in Thicke's bedroom, in his bed and in other parts of the house that he used to share with Patton. So, to review: Thicke allegedly cheated on Patton and then made her sit through the disturbing gyrations of her then-husband during the 2013 VMAs, endure the bizarre video for "Blurred Lines" in which fully nude models strut around Thicke, suffer through his other odd behavior, listen to him beg to get her back and, then, he ultimately makes her watch as he romances a teenage girl from her former bedroom. Yeesh.

It must also be pretty awkward for Geary right now, considering Thicke's social media accounts are rife with reference to Patton. Thicke's new album is titled Paula and he's still heavily promoting his single, "Get Her Back." "Let's change the world one song at a time," his Twitter tagline reads. "I love u @paulapattonXO & Julian Fuego."

Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever: 6 Reasons you should watch it

Well, turns out that yes, yes she did.

Because although a movie starring Grumpy Cat sounds like a terrible idea, the geniuses over at Lifetime managed to play up the commercialization and meme-ification of this irresistible fluff ball like champs, making me realize that I did indeed need a little more Grumpy Cat in my life, even though I didn't know it.

The movie is narrated by Grumpy Cat, who, in the movie, is living in a mall pet store. The oft-passed over feline has spent her whole life in the store, (nobody will adopt her because of her dour expression) and it's given her a very Grinch-like outlook on life... and on Christmas.

Cue Crystal, an adorably awkward young tween who works at the pet store because it's better than trying to fit in anywhere else. One afternoon, on her way to work, Crystal confesses her teen angst to a mysterious mall Santa, who then gives her a magic wishing coin. She uses it to wish for a friend who will understand her, and voilà — when she arrives at the pet store, she can suddenly understand everything Grumpy Cat says. The two are then forced to work together to save the pet store when some wannabe musicians steal the pet store's prized (and very valuable) pooch to fund their band.

10 Unexpected reasons why holidays are better with kids

The movie uses a lot of familiar Christmas movie tropes, which may scare people off, but they shouldn't because every one of those cheesy holiday tropes is very well-played. So, in honor of my unexpectedly unbridled enthusiasm, here are six reasons I fell in love with Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever.

Aubrey Plaza

I was having a hard time imagining Aubrey Plaza's voice fitting Grumpy Cat because in my mind she always sounded like Harvey Fierstein — low, growly and like she had a pack-a-day cigarette habit. But Plaza is perfect! Her deadpan delivery of such lines as, "Don't get sappy on me. Wait, this is a Lifetime movie!" are well-timed and super funny, and she totally nails all of Grumpy Cat's so-strange-it's-hilarious meta-commentary.

Aubrey Plaza: Humor is my defense mechanism

Lifetime isn't taking itself too seriously, and it pays off big time!

There are quite a few jokes about Lifetime movies in this film along with digs at said overused (but applied anyway) Christmas movie tropes, making it very clear the studio isn't taking itself too seriously here. As a matter of fact, Grumpy Cat herself repeatedly tells audiences they could probably find something better to do with their time, but since they've decided to watch the movie anyway, why not just live-tweet it along with her? That irreverence, dipped in lighthearted snark, are what keep the film from feeling like "just another Christmas movie" and instead lands it in Actually-Pretty-Clever Land.

Grumpy Cat pop-ups

Hands down one of the weirdest (and most wonderful) elements of the movie are its occasional pop-up Grumpy Cat graphics that streak across the screen with commentary on the film's plot. They may show up in the form of a Grumpy Cat Cupid when the "B story line" begins, or as Grumpy Cat Santa warning you of a commercial break by announcing it's, "Time to sell you stuff." These moments were so strange that I imagine it's only a matter of time till someone constructs a drinking game around them.

The animals are too adorbs!

The animal voices and personalities in the film might seem stereotypical, but the movie is so self-aware that their personalities feel more like meta-jokes than lazy writing. And on top of it all, you've got Grumpy Cat delivering Grade A snark to her fellow pet store inhabitant buffoons... and to us. For instance, at one point, Grumpy tells the audiences, "Some are born great, others achieve greatness, and some watch Christmas movies starring cats. I think you know who you are."

I am definitely in the third category, and it's OK.

This happens

I don't want to ruin things for you, so I'll just say that Grumpy has quite an imagination, and it sometimes leads to unexpected and absolutely ridiculous scenarios like the one captured in the above photo. And who doesn't love the idea of Grumpy Cat driving a car? Grumpy people, that's who! And Grumpy herself would be the first to clap those grumps on the back for it.

Grumpy Cat vs. Kirk Cameron: Which Christmas film will be worse?

It has heart

At the end of the day, every solid Christmas movie has to have heart. Even the notoriously twisted Bad Santa saw Billy Bob Thornton's character showing some honest-to-goodness depth of character at the end of its bad-tempered journey. Well, Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever is no exception — and that's a good thing! Because this is a film you can watch (with your family!) without choking on saccharine sentimentality, while still leaving everyone with good feels.

Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever airs on Lifetime on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 8/7c.

T.I. talks Ferguson: "America has created a monster"

Eighteen-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in August. Riots followed in the small Missouri town, where racial tension has a deeply rooted history, especially between police and citizens.

Many called for the officer to stand trial, but the grand jury's Monday decision means no probable cause has been found to charge Wilson with a crime, and, subsequently, there will be no trial.

The announcement of the grand jury's decision led to protests nationwide and violent riots in Ferguson, where protesters flipped and burned police cars, broke store windows and looted at liquor stores and gas stations. The situation was still developing on Monday night and looked like it could continue to escalate overnight.

The controversial decision and its announcement had many talking on social media, and celebrities were no exception to that. Below, see some of the angriest, most disappointed celeb tweets to follow the announcement in Ferguson.

Vanessa Hudgens is the latest celeb hitting the Broadway stage

According to TMZ, the man, identified as Junior Kabongo, traveled from Africa to Los Angeles, California, to be with the former Disney Channel star — but marrying her is not all he'd like to do to her.

Kabongo sent Hudgens multiple emails that ranged from very graphic and sexual ones such as, "God gave me a penis to make you feel like you never did everytime (sic) when we'll make love," to "Hello, I love you and want to marry you."

As if these emails were not enough, Kabongo also allegedly told the actress in an email that he wanted to become a movie star.

Vanessa Hudgens praises women in pregnancy shelters

"I love you and wanna marry you. I write screenplays. I wanna become a movie star," he wrote. After which he informed the Gimme Shelter actress that he intended to leave his home and book a flight to Los Angeles — which he actually did!

No doubt Hudgens was freaked out when Kabongo was spotted driving up and down her street earlier this month on Nov. 1 and Nov. 4, according to TMZ.

5 Reasons Michelle Rodriguez is a horrible match for Zac Efron

A judge immediately decided to grant the brunette beauty a restraining order, and Kabongo has been ordered to stay 100 yards clear of her, her younger sister, Stella, and boyfriend, Austin Butler.

Just goes to show there can be a very dark and dangerous side to fame!

The Imitation Game shows the real struggles of a gay genius during World War II

The Imitation Game

History has proven it can be cruel, even to its heroes. Such was the case for Alan Turing, the man who led the team responsible for cracking the German Enigma code during World War II. Turing was a brilliant thinker, saved countless lives and invented one of the world's first supercomputers. So, why did his life end so tragically? He was gay in a time and country when it wasn't considered OK. In fact, England made it punishable by jail time.

SK Confessional: I'm obsessed with Benedict Cumberbatch, and here's why

In the film, Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) joins the British war effort, desperate to figure out how to crack the Nazi secret code that delivered encrypted messages about the movements of Nazi troops. Turing put together a group of "puzzle solvers" that included one woman, Joan Clarke (Keira Knightley), at the now-famous Hut 8 in Bletchley Park.

The Imitation Game

Cumberbatch plays Turing as a complicated man who is somewhere on the autistic spectrum and is unable to interpret simple metaphors other people use in their everyday speech.

Turing doesn't play well with the other male researchers, who don't understand his devotion to building a £100,000 machine he's named "Christopher." But Turing develops a fondness for Clarke because, like him, she's an outsider at Bletchley Park.

At one point, Turing proposes marriage to Clarke. She accepts, though she's a bit baffled by his lack of interest in her physically. Soon, however, Turing shares his secret and tells her he's a homosexual.

Keira Knightley only allows herself to live on $50k a year

The most brilliant part of the film comes at this very moment. Knightley's performance is so powerful, you believe her when she says she wants to marry Turing despite his lack for sexual desire for her. For a modern audience, it's hard to comprehend a woman knowingly marrying a gay man, but Knightley plays Clarke with so much love, so much admiration and so much respect for Turing, she manages to convince us that she should absolutely marry him; that they are two peas in a very unusual pod, and they belong together.

Life changes drastically for both Turing and Clarke when the war comes to an end. They are unable to speak to anyone about their work breaking the Enigma code, and their military records no longer exist. The most they can tell people is that they worked in a radio factory.

Turing eventually ended their engagement, deciding he couldn't go through with it, and both go on to live separate lives. But when Turing is caught by police in a homosexual liaison, he faces jail time. His only chance to stay out of prison is to undergo hormonal therapy called chemical castration. He chooses the estrogen injections and becomes physically and mentally unstable. He was just 41 when he died.

In 2013, Britain's Queen Elizabeth II gave Turing a Royal Pardon after a long campaign supported by many scientists, including Stephen Hawking.

Harsh! Did Bette Midler just call Ariana Grande a 'whore'?

5 Times Ariana Grande's "Love Me Harder" video makes us cringe

There's no denying that Grande is a seriously talented young woman, but it's the fact that she's using her sex appeal to sell her albums, or as Midler puts it, "slithering around on a couch," that the actress has a problem with.

Speaking during an interview with The Telegraph, the Parental Guidance actress shared her opinions about the current state of the music industry and just how disgusting it is.

"It's terrible!" Midler told the paper. "It's always surprising to see someone like Ariana Grande with that silly high voice, a very wholesome voice, slithering around on a couch looking so ridiculous. I mean, it's silly beyond belief, and I don't know who's telling her to do it."

Ariana Grande's reported diva 'tude makes life coach quit

"I wish they'd stop. But it's not my business, I'm not her mother. Or her manager," Midler continued. "Maybe they tell them that's what you've got to do. Sex sells. Sex has always sold."

The Hocus Pocus star then continued to share her thoughts on how the times have changed, and that there are no longer any boundaries for what people can or can't do.

"Whatever strictures there were have fallen apart," she mused. "And now it's whatever you feel like doing you can do. I mean, apparently people really like to pretend they're having sex. They really like to slap each other's butts."

But Midler does have some sound advice for young women wanting to break into showbiz today, and that is to trust your talent.

"Trust your talent," she explained. "You don't have to make a whore out of yourself to get ahead. You really don't."

Star Trek: Voyager's Robert Picardo thinks his life is in danger

Zoe Saldana stands her ground in Star Trek 2 poster

According to TMZ, the former couple are battling it out in a bitter divorce and the actor has now asked a judge to evict Pawlik from his property because "he's deathly afraid of her."

Pawlik has reportedly been living in the The Doctor actor's guesthouse, but after he found out that a handgun in her name was used to kill her friend Edward Mello, he wants her gone! Court documents allegedly reveal that Picardo said Pawlik was questioned by police after Mello was found dead on Oct. 29 in a hotel room.

Here's Cumberbatch's cut shower scene from Star Trek 2

TMZ also reports that Pawlik "was ordered to turn over all 10 of her handguns when he got the restraining order." However, the actor still believes there are at least four guns that weren't turned into the police, and that "one was used to murder Mello."

There are also some other troubling accusations made against his ex-wife because Picardo claims she keeps bad company and hangs out with drug users and violent criminals.

And it appears a judge has found reason to be concerned, too.

According to TMZ, Picardo has gotten his wish, and his ex-wife has been ordered to move out of the guesthouse and off his property by Dec. 7. But it comes with a cost: Picardo reportedly will have to pay $10,000 toward her moving expenses.

The AMAS 2014: 20 Things people were talking about

The new friendship all began via Twitter when James Deen (who has a massive female following and has professionally slept with loads of women, including former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham) tweeted about the singer and how he has recently been enjoying her music.

"i recently started listening to lorde... lorde is f**ing awesome (sic)," Deen wrote.

And the exchange of tweets from here onward are pretty amazing because it turns out Lorde is a big fan of his work, too — and no, not the work of his crossover films such as The Canyons (Lindsay Lohan's comeback film).

Deen, whose real name is Bryan Sevilla, was so excited that Lorde was a supporter that he wrote back and asked her to continue being awesome.

And the tweets didn't end there. Deen then went on to tweet a few lyrics from Lorde's hit track "Team."

But according to the Daily Mail, Lorde has been a fan of Deen for quite some time. She has been following him on Twitter since last November, which just goes to show Lorde can have friends from all spectrums of the entertainment industry.

While she may be a fan of Deen, we think the guy she is really hoping will be in her inner circle is Pitbull. She recently gushed about the "I Know You Want Me" rapper and how meeting him was "not dissimilar to meeting the president." LOL!

Why Kris Jenner is wrong about a Kim Kardashian/Kanye West divorce

$

Despite Kardashian's alleged unhappiness with Yeezus, momager Kris Jenner forbids Kim from getting another divorce because she thinks it will torpedo her career. She couldn't be more wrong if she tried.

According to the RadarOnline.com article, Jenner fears her daughter's career would not survive another highly publicized divorce. Mama Jenner assumes that because Kardashian divorced hubby Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage, the public would write Kim off if she divorced again. Jenner fears a divorce from baby daddy West would make Kardashian a laughingstock.

Kim K vs. Taylor Swift, Beyoncé for Time's Person of the Year

Jenner isn't completely off in her logic, but she needs to take a look around her. Her daughter already is a laughingstock. Granted, Kardashian is laughing all the way to the bank, but is there anyone who takes her seriously? Did Jenner not see the numerous parodies — including a hilarious one by Ellen DeGeneres — of Kardashian's "break the internet" ass pic? Kardashian can make an ass of herself without any help from a West divorce.

15 Easy steps that will take your ordinary family to Kardashian fame

The matriarch of the Jenner/Kardashian clan fears Kardashian's career would be over if she divorced West, but we disagree. West is a professional at upsetting people. Whenever we read about his latest rant, we think, "What contest in hell did Kim win?" Who could live with that guy? We doubt very much if Kardashian's fans would abandon her if she dumped West. To the contrary, most people would slow clap her decision because he comes off as an angry, divisive individual with a god complex.

Would Kim Kardashian mind if her daughter followed in her naked footsteps?

RadarOnline.com also reported that Kardashian and West's marriage is little more than a business arrangement, and Kardashian isn't happy about it. A source told the gossip outlet, "Kim feels like their relationship is more of a business relationship than a real marriage. All they do is talk about business whenever they're together and it's stressing Kim out more than it ever has before."

Celebrities, particularly self-motivated, bigger-better-more-now ones, start to make poor decisions when they are unhappy. Tousles with the paparazzi, temper tantrums, drinking binges and extramarital affairs are not uncommon when a celebrity's life is not going the way they want it to. We'd argue that these things are far more detrimental to a celebrity's fame than divorcing an inflammatory loudmouth.

Kardashian somehow wormed her way into unprecedented fame before Humphries and before West. She's undeniably gorgeous and as long as she continues to bare herself on magazine covers and on social media, she will remain an object of desire for millions of men. She's branded herself into oblivion, and we doubt a West divorce would undo any of that. The only thing Kardashian may have to endure if she dumps West is a lot of high fives from complete strangers.
