Teresa Giudice trains for a new job that'll help her find inner peace

Teresa Giudice is taking full advantage of what she learned in prison. The reality star became a fan of yoga while behind bars and vowed to make time for it once she got out. She is now making good on that promise and has enrolled herself in classes to become an instructor.

While in prison, Giudice woke up every morning and practiced yoga for a few hours. Her passion and love for it happened immediately — she even went as far as saying it changed her life. But after being released from prison, she sort of lost her focus on the exercise. Between reuniting with her family and going on a book tour, there wasn’t as much focus on yoga.

She mentioned to E! News while promoting her book, "I want to get certified, but I'm not doing it as much because I'm working nonstop."

More: Teresa Giudice and her prison mates exchange emotional goodbyes

Well she’s officially followed through with that plan and has taken the first steps toward her certification. On Monday, she shared a photo on her Instagram that is her with other yoga certification hopefuls. The caption of her post reads, "With Erin Barry #nirvana #TeacherTraining2016 #adjustmentworkshop #authenticisthenewspritual."

And this is just the beginning for Giudice. In her book, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, she outlines plans for a whole line of products, including clothes and DVDs. I’m inclined to believe that she’ll get there, because everything that she’s set out to do, she’s done.

More: Teresa Giudice reveals her prison cell's shocking nickname

With her husband, Joe Giudice, away for his prison sentence, Teresa will have time to dedicate to her practice. Hopefully, she’ll be able to juggle her certification, a new business and her four daughters while Joe is away. If all goes well, this will be a great ending to an otherwise very sad story.

Good luck to you, Teresa!

Lisa Vanderpump says what everyone's thinking about Stassi Schroeder

She might've only appeared in the remaining moments of the second part of the Vanderpump Rules Season 4 reunion, but Stassi Schroeder definitely ignited a fire within Lisa Vanderpump. No matter what, it seems like Lisa just can't help but become irritated and speak her mind when it comes to her former employee. Can you really blame her?

More: The Vanderpump Rules cast members beat the love triangle to death

Similar to that Season 4 moment when Lisa schooled Stassi, she did it again during the reunion Monday. After host Andy Cohen quizzed everyone about Stassi's infamous return, Lisa bluntly spoke her truth. Basically, Lisa believes Stassi only returned because there were cameras. If they weren't part of a reality series, Lisa said that Stassi would have never crawled her way back to make amends.

Lisa Vanderpump
Image: Giphy

Queen Lisa didn't stop there. She even went on to call Stassi's return "disingenuous" and told her that she's sick of Stassi continuing to disrespect her, especially after everything Lisa's done for her. Stassi tried to defend herself, but failed miserably, because, well, Lisa's right.

Despite Stassi's supposed newfound ways and her lengthy apology tour, she continued to badmouth Lisa during her private Pump Rules interviews. Obviously, Lisa watched each episode and did not appreciate what Stassi had to say.

More: Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder stun with finale decision

Even Tom Sandoval and Jax Taylor admitted that there was more than meets the eye with Stassi coming back to the group. When she first returned, Jax thought the main reasons for his ex-girlfriend popping back up around the friends she previously bashed had to do with the fact that she was having trouble in her relationship, she was lonely and realized she had no friends, and she was possibly having financial issues.

Stassi Schroeder
Image: Giphy

As for Sandoval, he was (and still is) extremely wary of Stassi's motives, because her timing just seemed too good to be true. All he wants is to protect his friends, especially Katie Maloney, from what may or may not be Stassi's manipulative powers.

So, I guess Lisa has support from two of her prized bartenders. Obviously, this isn't the last that viewers have heard from Lisa about Stassi during the reunion. I mean, they still have yet to discuss her sex tape and how Lisa said she fixed that problem for her.

You would think Stassi would have learned by now that you don't mess with Lisa or talk badly about her, because she will find out. Yeah, Stassi has met her match when it comes to winning arguments. Lisa will forever be queen schooling her employees.

Vanderpump Rules Season 4 wraps with Part 3 of the reunion on Monday, April 4 at 8/7c on Bravo.

Miley Cyrus' crazy outfits don't detract from her wisdom on The Voice

A lot of people rolled their eyes when they found out that Miley Cyrus is being added to the judging lineup for The Voice Season 11. Cyrus has something of a reputation for taking the spotlight whenever possible, so critics assumed she would do the same both as an adviser and as an eventual judge. She did attract a lot of attention tonight with her over-the-top outfits, but it would be unfair to only focus on her attire and not on the actual quality of her feedback.

More: The Voice viewers get hypocritical after Pharrell's tactical move

Surprisingly, Cyrus was an excellent adviser. A lot of mentors simply give the contestants pep talks, which, while inspiring, do not ultimately help these musicians make the improvements needed to move on in the competition. Cyrus, however, offered specific critiques, which the contestants were then able to use to improve their performance quality. She was by no means negative, however — hers was the epitome of constructive criticism, with singers leaving their mentoring sessions feeling motivated, but also knowing exactly what they needed to work on. As a result, tonight's episode included some of the best Knockout performances yet.

Although a few viewers ignored Cyrus' excellent feedback and focused on her kooky outfits, most were wise enough to see the value in her role as a mentor. Several expressed surprise, as they had not expected somebody with such an unfortunate reputation as Cyrus to be such a good adviser. Others compared her to this season's other mentors, claiming that she did a far better job than Sean Combs.

Tonight's episode of The Voice offered the ultimate lesson in not judging a book by its cover. At surface level, Miley Cyrus may not seem like the greatest coach, but she proved just why she deserves to have her own red chair alongside Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell. Tonight was just a taste of what's to come, but it's already clear that Cyrus has a promising future on The Voice. If nothing else, her wardrobe will offer viewers endless entertainment.

Jenelle Evans has yet another troubled boyfriend on her hands

$

At this point, two things are clear: Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans has truly terrible taste in men and the North Carolina Police Department may know the men better than she does. Evans' newest boyfriend, David Eason, was arrested this morning and taken into custody for a domestic violence protection order violation.

Eason was at the local grocery store when he ran into his son and baby mama. Allegedly, Eason gave his son a hug when they saw each other, which violated the “no contact” order against him.

More: Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans and Nathan shock fans with violent fight

There are many levels of wrong in this story.

The first major warning sign Evans might want to consider is that Eason has a domestic violence protection order against him. Sure, everyone makes mistakes. But it should be fairly obvious that someone with domestic violence charges is someone who you date with extreme caution. Most of us call that a red flag. Especially if his ex is so cautious that she would call the police and report him when he hugs his son in the grocery store.

More: Teen Mom's Jenelle Evans continues to confuse fans with pregnancy symptoms

But let’s just say that Eason isn’t a violent person. He’s also been convicted of breaking and entering and larceny. Let’s call those red flags No. 2 and 3.

Evans’ terrible romantic choices aren’t new, but what I want to know is where are her friends and family? She has to have someone in her inner circle telling her to put a pause on her dating life, doesn’t she?

More: Teen Mom fans scold Jenelle Evans after pathetic 16th arrest

If not, please allow me to be your friend for a second, Jenelle. Maybe 2016 is your single year? Take this time to focus on yourself and your children. You could travel, focus on your career, finish your degree — anything but dating. Because you’re better than this drama. And people want better for you.

What do you think? Will Jenelle ever find a new type?

This Easter weekend, Chris Pratt reminded everyone that he is a man of very strong faith. Although he didn’t push his beliefs on anyone, he did allow fans to follow along as he and two friends erected a huge cross in the middle of a field.

The Jurassic World star has never shied away from the topic of his faith, but he has always been careful not to lead with it either. In 2014, he did an interview with Esquire magazine in which he talked about his belief in God and how he thinks it saved his life. He recalls standing outside of a grocery store one night looking for someone to buy him alcohol when a stranger came up to talk to him. That night, Pratt was planning on doing what young men plan to do — sex, drinking and general party activities. But the stranger changed everything.

More: Chris Pratt cleans up well on the cover of Esquire magazine

He told Esquire, “[The stranger] was like, 'I stopped because Jesus told me to stop and talk to you. He said to tell you you're destined for great things.' My friends came out, and I was like, 'Hey, I'm gonna go with this guy.' I gave my soul to Jesus within, like, two days.”

From that day on, he’s never looked back. Although the way he practices his spirituality has changed, he continues to make time to pray for himself and his family.

The entire photo journey that he posted on Instagram was received incredibly well. Most fans added his religious beliefs, and his willingness to display them, to the long list of why they consider him the greatest. Over 4,000 commenters praised him for his Easter project and thanked him for letting them see the whole thing happen.

Even if you don’t align completely with what he believes, it is refreshing to see someone have such strong faith without feeling the need to preach about it. And it makes Pratt even more lovable. Something I didn’t know was possible.

Jillian Harris gets real about pregnancy & pooping — and we love it

Jillian Harris is here to let everyone know the dirty details of pregnancy. The former Bachelor contestant talked to Us Weekly about the changes her body is going through while pregnant, and not all of it is pretty. During her frank discussion, she mentioned fellow Bachelor alum, Ali Fedotowsky, who seems to be having the opposite problems than her.

More: Jillian Harris shares: Get a home that steals your heart

Harris said, “If you read her blog, she talked about being constipated, and I’m like, ‘I’m the exact opposite! I haven’t pooped this much in my entire life!’”

So, no leaving anything to the imagination!

Harris, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Justin Pasutto, didn’t stop dishing the details there. She also said, “The first trimester I felt sick and gross and didn’t want to eat. I was just expecting… I would have pregnancy symptoms through the entire nine months, but you don’t really.”

More: The Bachelorette Jillian Harris: Healthy living tips

I just want to take a second to appreciate Harris for keeping it real about her pregnancy. So many celebrities (I’m looking at you, Gwyneth, and your painless pregnancy tips) talk about how magical pregnancy is when, in reality, it’s strange and foreign and makes your body do weird things. The result is definitely magical, but I can’t believe that having a human growing inside your body is a completely effortless process. We need more honest mothers-to-be to talk about the whole thing. We need to know what we’re really getting into!

Harris is also looking on the bright side of all these changes to her body — specifically getting to show off her baby bump this summer. She confessed, “When I found out I was pregnant, I bought 12 different bikinis because I was so excited to have my bump out.”

I say good for her! And good for all the women who are determined to give all the details about pregnancy — the good, the bad and the gross.

Chrissy Teigen could be fooling everyone with her baby belly

Chrissy Teigen is at it again. The model tweeted a very vague tweet about April Fools' and sent Twitter into a frenzy questioning whether or not her pregnancy is real.

Teigen told her followers that any veteran prankster knows that you have to plant the seeds of your prank now so that it pays off on April Fools' day. Then she added, “Hell I started months ago.” It was that part that led people to question if she was talking about her pregnancy and we’ll all be pranked on Friday when there isn’t a Baby Legend on the way.

It’s highly unlikely that she would joke about something as big as her pregnancy, especially when you consider all the drama and heartbreak associated with it. But it’s hilarious that she took the opportunity to mess with people anyway. As someone who takes a lot of heat on Twitter, it’s probably incredibly entertaining to be able to mess with people for a change. I imagine that she and John Legend are somewhere laughing at everyone’s responses to her tweet.

Some fans have caught on to the ridiculousness of the situation and have started adding to the story. Some even guessed that she is pregnant, but the prank is that she will actually become the mother of a dragon instead of the baby girl. Which is Twitter acting as its best self — a place for completely random interactions between regular people and megastars.

It’ll be fun to see what exactly Teigen has up her sleeve for her real April Fools' prank and what lie we’ve all been buying for months.

Supergirl: Not even awesome villains could save The Flash crossover episode

$

Tonight, fans who have been begging for a Supergirl/The Flash crossover ever since Supergirl debuted on CBS last fall finally got their wish. While there were some highlights in the highly anticipated crossover episode, the bad outweighed the good.

Let's start with what the episode got right, shall we?

The good: Silver Banshee and Livewire really shined in the crossover event. In a show where weekly villains usually have no depth, developed back story or anything to make them interesting in general, this episode really stepped things up a notch in the evil-doer department.

More: Supergirl's latest romantic subplot finally takes forced story lines too far

Also, there's no denying it, Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist have great onscreen chemistry. So much so, I almost forgive the fact that the writers have given Kara yet another person to have weird sexual tension and flirt with.

Which brings us to the bad.

1. Stop trying to make James and Kara happen — it's not going to happen!

Still from Supergirl
Image: Michael Yarish/Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.

If this was Mean Girls and not a superhero show, the Supergirl writers would be Gretchen Weiners and the Jara ship is the equivalent of fetch. For crying out loud, is this show really still pushing the James/Kara romantic story line? There's a new superhero in town who happens to be an attractive male, so of course James is green with envy. In fact, that should be his villain name. Green Envy.

More: Why Supergirl's James Olsen has totally got to go

And I'm not the only one who is so over this forced ship. Fans have spoken out about it over and over.

Supergirl crossover tweet 3

Supergirl crossover tweet 3

Supergirl crossover tweet 4

(Side note: James' reaction to finding out Barry is a superhero from another universe is standoffish, but Winn's is adorable.)

2. The pop culture references

While normally I'm all for an occasional real world reference craftily slipped into a fictional universe, this episode was oozing with so many it was beyond cheesy. From Beyoncé to Taylor Swift's squad and back to Mariah Carey and Ramona Singer, it was just too much. The references went overboard and made it seem like the show was trying too hard to be clever.

However, it did make me giggle when Cat said, "You look like the attractive yet non-threatening, racially diverse cast of a CW show," in a nod to the fact that everyone seems to think that Supergirl would be a better fit for The CW than CBS.

3. The villains need new stylists

Still from Supergirl
Image: Robert Voets/Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.

While the story and action involving Livewire and Silver Banshee were OK, in the grand tradition of Supergirl villains, they kinda looked like crap.

I get it, I get it, it's a comic book adaptation. But with all the money that's supposedly dumped into Supergirl's budget, you'd expect Silver Banshee to look a little more like a supernatural being than a Cobra Kai member dressed up for Halloween.

Karate Kid still

Image: Columbia Pictures

Now let's take a moment to talk about the plot holes in this specific episode. For one, how is it that Cat recognizes Siobhan under 12 inches of Silver Banshee pancake makeup, but Kara glides by undetected by putting on a pair of spectacles? It makes no sense.

It's also a little strange that Supergirl is impervious to bullets and fire, but Siobhan's Silver Banshee scream can render her unconscious and bleeding — while Livewire easily absorbs it. Then there's the fact that James is struck by a strong bolt of electricity, but survives completely unscathed.

Now that Season 1 of Supergirl is coming to a close, we'd hope by now that the series would have kinks like plot, character story lines and overall aesthetics of the show ironed out. How does Supergirl production continue to overlook these huge details?

What did you think of The Flash/Supergirl crossover?

Augusten Burroughs explains why sex is necessary for a happy marriage

$

In Dry, gifted memoirist Augusten Burroughs discussed his serious battle with alcoholism. Now, in his newest gift to fans, he goes after past romantic relationships — the good, the bad and the very ugly. In his usual brash, brave style, he doesn't pull any punches.

Lust and Wonder Augusten Burroughs
Image: Amazon

When we spoke recently, I asked Burroughs about the possible backlash over Lust and Wonder. Although he admittedly did not talk to any of his exes before writing the new memoir, he said, "I hope not. You can't ever predict how people are going to react, but I have to tell my story."

I've been following Burroughs' career for ages now, so I'm used to being horrified and amused in equal measure. Yet, Lust and Wonder even had me wincing, possibly because, for the first time, I could see myself in the scenarios set forth. I saw myself in the crazy.

More: Tegan and Sara with Augusten Burroughs and SheKnows

Free from his alcohol addiction, Burroughs expected everything to be peachy keen, expected his life to just fall into place like a movie rom-com. Instead ... "I'd gotten through all those years sober," he said, "which I thought should have been a cake walk. I thought everything was supposed to fall together, and I would be in this happy, normal relationship, doing things correctly, right? And I was just really unhappy, all the while telling myself how happy I was."

I learned some things, too. For instance, I never considered there could be an expiration date for first-time sex in a new relationship. However, as Burroughs learned, there is such a thing as waiting too long for sex, unfortunately, discovered the hard way (no irony intended), with his boyfriend, Dennis.

He said, "As soon as I started writing about my experiences, the book just sort of exploded. I couldn't stop. It's interesting because it's stuff I don't want to write about. I don't want to be back in that awful relationship when I was lying to myself. I don't want to examine that, but that's what I had to do. Writing about my life is how I understand it, how I figure it out."

More: Half of newlyweds don't have wedding night sex anymore

Burroughs said, "In that particular case, I think, we were so sexually incompatible. It was like, 'Uh-oh, this is who I've decided is going to be The One. I'm going to make it work. I'm going to be normal. I'm going to be sane. I'm not going to be crazy anymore. He's obviously good for me, so we're going to make it work. The sex will get better. It'll be fine.' And it just didn't work out that way at all."

Spoiler! Spoiler! Burroughs is now happily, gleefully married, which is why he can now openly admit that sex is a necessity in all romantic relationships. In regards to his experience with Dennis, he said, "The sex was indicative of the end — of the completely broken nature of that relationship. It never got better. I was trying to lie to myself, but our sexual relationship was asking, 'Really? Are you sure? Then, why are you not doing anything in the bedroom?' Sex is important in a relationship.

"I was trying to tell myself it was not important, grabbing on to any article I could find that told me relationships were more than just sex — thrilled at statistics about how little sex people had in relationships. It’s normal! It’s good! Now, I understand it's not. Marriage needs to be intimate, with that deep level of trust, that deep connection. We are sexual beings; it needs to be woven into the fabric of the relationship."

More: 9 empowering quotes on the same-sex marriage ruling that prove #LoveWins

So, OK, yes, Lust and Wonder has a happy ending, but it's not my fault you're hearing this! You can Google Burroughs and find out as much, OK? It's the journey that matters, and well, it's a heck of a journey.

The man went through hell and high water to find his dream guy, but in the end, it was all worth it, so much so that Burroughs told me, "It was worth every single awful thing that ever happened to me. Being with my husband has been the most amazing relationship of my life — the most unexpected and yet the most inevitable.

"He's the person who's read every thought that I've put down on paper. To have someone react so well, to accept all the different parts of my personality... the dents and tears and rips, the parts that are messy that I want to get rid of…  Someone who responds so well has been a real revelation to me. It's really helped me to accept myself."

Which is, really, what he believes happiness is all about.

Ever since he was a little kid, Burroughs wanted to be famous. Then, he got famous and realized he wasn't happy at all. He said, "A lot of the things I thought I wanted, I didn't give a s*** about. A lot of the things that come along with fame, I don't want. It could not matter less."

What does matter, Mr. Burroughs?

"Being with someone who I just worship, respect, admire and love — and to feel that's reciprocated. To be completely understood by someone while being completely natural, completely myself. Letting myself be who I actually am and not who I think I should be or want to be."

And that, people, is a thing of wonder.

5 ways Teen Mom 2 shows Leah Messer didn't deserve custody

More: Catelynn Lowell discusses her post-baby body in an inspiring way

On this season of Teen Mom 2, which is not even three episodes old, Leah Messer is already in the midst of some serious trouble, on and off camera, and MTV hasn't exactly been reserved about showing it all.

On Monday's new episode, Corey Simms learned that he'd be receiving primary custody of the twins. And while we didn't see Leah hearing the news on camera, there was some behavior, before and after the custody decision was made public, that fans of the show will recognize, and it doesn't make it easy to support Leah in contesting the judge's decision to award Corey custody.

1. Not having food in the house

This is the second week in a row that one of the twins has noticed that there isn't so much in the way of foodstuffs in Leah's house, and it just doesn't get less upsetting to hear. Leah seemed to dismiss it again, which was also both weird and sad.

2. Anxiety

Leah spent some time last season in "intense therapy," as she called it, for anxiety and depression, although Corey and Miranda didn't buy it and tried to get Leah to admit to drug use on numerous occasions. Fans saw her collapse more than once under the pressure of everything — her divorce, Ali's illness, the stress that comes from having three kids, etc. Anxiety, depression and addiction aren't things that just evaporate, so it's no wonder that Leah's still dealing with these issues this season, and not doing a great job — the level of anxiety she seems to have just isn't sustainable.

More: Teen Mom stars have actually defied the odds

3. Being on the low end of functional

On Monday, Leah was so overcome by everything — Ali's doctor's appointment, the pending custody decision and dealing with Jeremy — that she didn't feel like she should drive to pick up the girls from school. When she called her sister, Victoria, and asked her to do it, she was slurring her words, and it was hard to make out what she was saying. MTV also didn't hesitate to film Leah asleep on the couch in what seemed to be the middle of the day, and to juxtapose it with Corey hugging Miranda and saying how big of a responsibility they're about to take on, but it's what's best for the girls.

4. All the screaming

While it hasn't happened yet this season, Leah and Jeremy's fighting last season reached such a pitch that the twins told Corey it scared them. Things seem quieter since Leah and Jeremy no longer live together, but the fact that things were so out of hand didn't really support the argument that Leah was providing a stable environment.

5. Too much, too fast

Since we first met Leah in her 16 and Pregnant episode, it's been clear that she often takes on too much with not a lot of clarity about how the future will actually look. While her divorce from Jeremy and her entering into rehab hopefully indicates a positive change, it's not impossible to imagine that she could get herself into a whole new troublesome situation and that MTV won't hesitate to show us all the gory details.

All this being said, this is still a reality show, and there is still this thing called editing, which has the power to do as much bad as it does good. Leah's been open about her anger toward MTV lately, and although she's since regained custody of the twins, the Teen Mom 2 producers are proving, with every episode this season, that they're not interested in bypassing anything, no matter how uncomfortable it is.

More: Teen Mom's Adam Lind arrested for the second time in four months

Do you think Leah Messer deserved to lose custody of the twins? Is Corey Simms a better parent? Is MTV's editing of the show responsible for portraying her in a bad light? Tell us in the comments!

DWTS: Antonio Brown totally made an awkward sex joke on-camera

The contestants had a chance to shake their nerves out a bit last week and add a little Latin heat. Did they succeed? It can be tough to create chemistry with a partner you've only known for a few weeks.

Pittsburgh Steelers player Antonio Brown certainly got comfortable with his partner, Sharna Burgess, while learning the Rumba this week. After their dance, they were interviewed by co-host Erin Andrews, and things got awkwardly dirty very quickly.

Antonio Brown's blood flow on DWTS

Antonio Brown's blood flow on DWTS

"So the best part about this is that you basically became a coach for Antonio teaching him rubbing, touching... What other things did you learn this week, AB?" Andrews said.

"To put my hips on the leg, a lot of stuff," Brown smirked.

Andrews then asked, "How did that work out for you?"

"Uh, it was a little difficult," he responded.

She retorted, "Really, why?"

And that's when Brown lowered the boom.

"Blood flow," he explained.

Everyone giggled in shock, but Andrews handled the suggestive response with a quick "family show" quip before they went to the scores.

Here's how the Dancing With the Stars cast fared this week along with our first predictable elimination.

Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe — Samba

I was so happy to see that Sweetin left her doubts in the rehearsal room and stepped out onto that dance floor with confidence. She and Keo Motsepe make a sexy couple, and I appreciate that he gave her some challenging Samba content because she has the dance foundation to give her tougher choreography.

More: DWTS Season 22: A complete review of every duo's dancing debut (VIDEO)

Marla Maples and Tony Dovolani — Argentine Tango

I thought her movements were crisp, but I wish they were a bit quicker. Dovolani's choreography tends to be on the slower side, but he has a contestant this season who can handle a fast-paced piece. Her leg lines are also really to die for.

Geraldo Rivera as Donald Trump

Geraldo Rivera as Donald Trump

Geraldo Rivera and Edyta Sliwinska — Salsa

Rivera was my prediction to go home this week, and I was right. However, I think this dance will be the viral video of the week. He dressed as Donald Trump complete with bad hair and an orange spray tan. The Fox News correspondent had a fun rhythmic moment toward the end, but it marked a very short return for talented Sliwinska.

Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas — Salsa

It’s Week 2, and we already have our second injury. Ballas was out with a slipped disc and troupe member Alan Bersten stepped in. VanZant handled the last-minute shift with aplomb in a dance that had some difficult lifts in a jam-packed routine.

Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess — Rumba

This was one of my favorite couples on paper before the season began. Brown is almost there, but he has a big breakthrough coming. As Len Goodman said, "You are going to be good." Let's hope he focuses on his dancing versus his blood flow for next week.

Kim Fields Cha-chas on DWTS

Kim Fields Cha-chas on DWTS

Kim Fields and Sasha Farber — Salsa

Fields knows how to turn it on the second she steps on the dance floor. Even with a little fumble, her footwork was quick and clean. If Farber continues to pace her correctly, she could make it late into the game.

More: Candace Cameron Bure gives "big sis" DWTS advice to Jodie Sweetin

Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd — Rumba

These two are dancing inside a magical bubble, and we are just privileged to watch them together. Yes, the tempo could have been slowed down, but DiMarco has some good basics when it comes to dance technique. Once Murgatroyd adds a little polish to his long lines, this couple could be unstoppable.

Mischa Barton and Artem Chigvintsev — Cha-cha

I feel like the judges' negative comments from Week 1 took the wind out of Barton's sails, and she's already quit in her head. I hate seeing a contestant who's not having fun on the show, so it was nice to see her crack a smile mid-dance. Girl, believing in yourself is half the battle.

Von Miller and Witney Carson — Cha-cha

I wanted more Cha-cha content in this piece, and I think Miller can pick up his feet to utilize the space. The duo seems to have a playful relationship in rehearsals, so I think Carson can bring that out more in the athlete as the weeks go on.

Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold — Salsa

What is remarkable about this pair is that they already dance like one unit, and it's only the second week. This was easily the best Salsa of the night and the best dance of the night. There was so much joy along with an easiness between the duo on that dance floor.

More: DWTS Season 22 contestants: Where you've seen them before

Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff — Paso Doble

I've got to admit, I was feeling the Flutie tonight. The retired NFL player has shown tremendous improvement out there on the dance floor. Like a lot of athletes, he has to watch his feet to keep them in alignment and nicely pointed. This was one of the most smoldering dances of the night, thanks to Smirnoff's savvy choreography.

Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy — Samba

Chmerkovskiy is a purist when it comes to dance choreography, and he did a nice job giving the Good Morning America meteorologist the technique behind a strong Samba bounce. She's a strong contender, but I think Zee is going to have a breakthrough that leaves us in awe. It's coming….

The first contestant eliminated was unsurprisingly Geraldo Rivera, who gracefully exited the ballroom floor with a smile. Next week is "Most Memorable Year," which is always a tearjerker, and another contestant will be voted off. I'm thinking it's Mischa Barton's turn to dance off into the sunset.

5 reasons you need to watch Quit Your Day Job

I was a bit skeptical to add another entrepreneurship competition show to my TV lineup. Often turned off by the curt nature and all-business approach taken by investors, and having to watch contestants retreat in tears, I was definitely guarded. When I was asked to watch Quit Your Day Job, premiering on Oxygen on March 30, I swallowed hard and braced myself for a similar competition.

It took only five minutes of watching for me to realize that this show was very different from the others.

Not only did the investors of Quit Your Day Job entertain some amazing business ideas, they also invested personally in those who created them, a perk uncharacteristic of any of the other shows. I was touched by the way investment decisions were made by faith in one's innovation and abilities instead of the products themselves. As with all competition shows, contestants experience disappointment and eliminations are made, but the rewards received by the chosen few contestants appear much greater than those I'd previously seen.

You need not be working on a patent or your own line of clothing to appreciate the process of this show, nor have a container full of prototypes in your closet to understand the concept of innovation. In fact, if I could choose a group that I'd really want to watch this show, I'd choose young women, women off to college or soon to be, to help reinforce that they can be — and do — anything.

1. The show is empowering

Though the show is not geared solely towards female entrepreneurs, it's woman-empowering. In entrepreneurship, a sector of business often dominated by men, it is refreshing to see the passion other women have to create their own businesses. It is also inspiring to see the investors, the women especially, who have beaten the odds to become successful.

2. It inspires creativity

I loved the fact that instead of offering a solid yes or no to a business on the spot (like other shows), the investors assist the entrepreneurs with their pitches and product lines before offering money and support. Through this mentorship, entrepreneurs are given solid foundations on which to build their businesses.

3. The show is encouraging

Quit Your Day Job inspires all of us to follow our dreams. Jamilah Lang, one of the show's first contestants, was turned down 38 times before she received her first yes. How many of us would still be up and fighting after 38 rejections? This show may inspire a person working hard on her own dreams to continue making them a reality.

4. It makes us believe we can

Entrepreneurs come in all shapes and sizes, ages and races and from differing social circumstances. The show teaches us that all that means nothing. If you feel your ideas may not be heard based on your age, race, background or product, Quit Your Day Job assures you they can.

5. There may be more than one winner

Instead of having one entrepreneur go home with a trophy, a deal and financial backing to start their busines, there's potential for more than one entrepreneur to win the prize. Quit Your Day Job shows us that the odds of our own success might be greater than we think.

Quit Your Day Job is an inspiring series. It gives us hope that we can break through to certain success, and that our dreams are worth fighting for. So, grab your girlfriends, sisters and daughters and tune in. You'll be so glad you did.

Quit Your Day Job premieres March 30th at 10/9c

Perry and Bloom recently decided to release their inner child during a trip to Disneyland in Southern California — and not only did they enjoy the rides, but they also really enjoyed each other's company.

"Orlando and Katy were very hands-on with each other during their trip to Disney," a source told E! News. "They were like little kids. It seemed like they were married the way they were acting with each other. They were holding hands, and Orlando sneaked a kiss on one ride. They looked happy and in love."

Plus Perry was in her element, as the source revealed, "Katy loves Disney. She has been there countless of times."

Charlize Theron finally addresses her unexpected split from Sean Penn

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn called it quits last summer, and given that the relationship seemed to come to an end without warning, fans were confused about what exactly went wrong.

More: Charlize Theron, Sean Penn end engagement: Who dumped who?

There were rumors that Theron ended the relationship and that she was "ghosting" Penn (completely cutting all communication and disappearing from his life). But now, months later, Theron is finally clearing the air and setting the record straight about her breakup.

Speaking during an interview with the April issue of WSJ magazine, Theron revealed the difficulties that arise from living a life in public.

"There is this need to sensationalize things," she told the publication. "When you leave a relationship, there has to be some f***ing crazy story or some crazy drama. And the f***ing ghosting thing, like literally I still don't even know what it is."

She added, "It's just its own beast. We were in a relationship and then it didn't work anymore. And we both decided to separate. That's it."

More: Sean Penn, Charlize Theron engaged — and it was everything but traditional

But the breakup clearly left Theron emotional, and after all this time, discussing what went wrong still brings her to tears. Speaking of the events that lead up to her split from Penn, she candidly spoke about her desire to adopt a second child (August).

"When you're with somebody and it comes to kids, you can't bullshit," she explained. "And so I was always very honest with Sean that I wanted to have more kids. And he was very supportive."

"We were very, very new in a relationship," she explained. "The stories saying that Sean was going to adopt Jackson and all of that were not true. It's not something that happens in 18 months. You can't do that to a child. So there was an understanding that I was a single mom with a very young boy who I had to put in a situation where he understood that Mommy dates but that he does not have a father, you know what I mean? You have to be very careful and very honest about that stuff. And Sean was great with all of that."

Theron then addressed the fact that she made the decision to file the adoption papers alone.

"And in my honesty about wanting to have more kids, there was an understanding that a relationship had to go somewhere before it was going to be — what you hope for, which ultimately did not happen," she explained to writer Alex Bhattacharji.

"I couldn't foresee that, but that stuff takes time, and I think it's my responsibility as a mother to protect my child from that. And so we had a very clear understanding. He knew that I was thinking about filing for another adoption but that we weren't filing together," Theron said.

"My publicist's going to kill me; I'm already saying too much." she joked, but Bhattacharji then noted that a wave of tears arrived.

More: Charlize Theron has creepy encounter with obsessed fan outside her home

While the split may have been heartbreaking for Theron, there was nothing sinister about it, and after months of speculation, we finally know what really went wrong (at least from Theron's side of the story, as the publication notes that Penn declined to comment).

The Walking Dead: 8 reasons we should be worried about Daryl's fate

$

If you haven't watched The Walking Dead episode "East" yet, be forewarned: There are massive spoilers ahead.

On March 27, time stood still. OK, maybe that's a bit hyperbolic, but for fans of The Walking Dead, March 27 could be a day that lives in infamy — it may enter into lore as the day that Daryl Dixon died.

If you watched the episode, titled "East," you undoubtedly know how things played out and, well, you may even be rioting right now.

More: 7 crazy theories about Maggie's baby on The Walking Dead

To be clear, we don't exactly know what happened to Daryl. What we do know is that he tore off on his motorcycle for a revenge mission against Dwight — the Savior he helped earlier this season who stole his crossbow and, only a week ago, used it to kill poor Dr. Denise.

Driven by a sense of responsibility and plagued by guilt, Daryl set out to avenge the good doctor. But, of course, his fellow survivors followed, specifically Glenn, Michonne and Rosita.

TWD
Image: Gene Page/AMC

Despite Glenn's impassioned plea for Daryl to "come home," Daryl felt compelled to continue on. Rosita joined him. Alas, before long, all four of them are captured by Negan's Saviors when Daryl tries to sneak up from behind to save Glenn and Michonne (who had been captured moments before).

TWD
Image: Gene Page/AMC

Then, it happens — the screen cuts to black at the precise moment a spray of blood hits our screen.

Did Daryl Dixon just get killed? No. Nope. Can't be... can it? While I would love to remain in abject denial for as long as possible, Daryl's death is plausible, I suppose. It isn't the only theory about his fate, however. Here are the major camps of opinion concerning Daryl's latest life-or-death situation.

1. Daryl is totally fine — the bullet just grazed him

TWD Daryl 1

TWD Daryl 1

And by grazed him, I clearly mean hit him in the shoulder at point-blank range. But Daryl is like the Chuck Norris of The Walking Dead. Daryl doesn't do push-ups, he pushes the world down. Daryl is so powerful he can jumpstart a car by attaching the cables to his chest hair. You get the picture — the dude is scrappy.

More: Is The Walking Dead's [SPOILER] gone for good? 7 clues they'll be back

Perhaps most telling, however, is what Austin Amelio (who plays skeevy Dwight) spilled about the cliffhanger. "He doesn't have an intention of killing him. He's been through a rough patch and I think he wants to show that he means business, and he knows that by shooting [Daryl] he gets his points across. I could have gone for the head. I didn't. I went for the right shoulder. He's not going to die. He'll be okay (sic)." That's all well and good, but could this guy be catfishin'? Which leads me to...

2. Dwight shot Daryl dead as a doornail, and we should all be rioting right now

TWD Daryl 4

TWD Daryl 4

When asked bout Dwight's voice being heard saying "you'll be all right" after the screen cuts to black, Norman Reedus played coy about his character's fate. "Yeah, but can you trust him? You know what I mean? Who is that guy? You don't even know who he's saying that to, to be honest." Uh, Daryl, are you trying to tell us you're a goner? 'Cause if so, we're going to need a bit more coddling. Maybe some warm milk and a big pillow to cry ourselves to sleep into. Yeah, that sounds about right.

3. Daryl is critically wounded and will die from the wound

Here's the thing — just as it would have been wrong to kill off Glenn during the whole dumpster debacle, it would be terribly wrong for arguably the show's most popular character to receive such an unceremonious send-off. What would be marginally better (if we have to spin something positive from this) is if she is only critically wounded and somehow still manages to save the day. Naturally, he'd then have to perish slowly, most likely during a sentimental visit with an old friend. Helloooo, Carol.

4. Daryl didn't get shot; Dwight did

TWD Daryl 5

TWD Daryl 5

Well now here's an intriguing theory. Although it seems pretty clear from the still frames that Daryl is the one whose body is pierced by a bullet (and Reedus confirmed "that's Daryl's blood you see"), it is in the realm of possibility that the camera angle is playing tricks on us. We haven't seen Rosita in a hot minute — maybe she comes through for the team and does indeed send a round through Dwight.

5. Daryl isn't dead yet, but he will pay the ultimate price next week

TWD Daryl 7

TWD Daryl 7

All season has been leading up to a critically dramatic moment in the finale: the moment Negan makes his official debut. Sure, his cronies have been all over those woods doing his bidding, but we've yet to see his face. Until next week, that is! From the teaser trailers and what we know of the comic series by the same name, Negan wields a baseball bat in barbed wire named Lucille that he uses to exact his authority. So another popular theory is that although the gunshot wound doesn't do Daryl in, Negan will use it as an excuse to finish him off during next week's finale.

6. Daryl doesn't die, but he's going to wish he did when he indirectly causes a friend's death

TWD Daryl 6

TWD Daryl 6

I know you know what I'm about to say. Yes, it has been foretold (aka it was written in the comic series) that Glenn is the survivor from Rick's crew who gets annihilated by Negan's barbed-wire-covered baseball bat in this scenario. Given that Daryl already has such a guilty conscience about Denise, whom he wasn't terribly close to, I can't imagine how he'd feel if his actions — i.e. going after Dwight in the first place — ultimately put Glenn in the position that got him killed.

7. Daryl was dying all along, so the gunshot wound simply expedites it

TWD
Image: Michael Wiseman/Facebook

This comes by way of a commenter on one of my previous posts about The Walking Dead, and I find it compelling for a few reasons. The backstory: A few weeks ago when Rick and Daryl went scouting together, they came across a man named Jesus who ended up stealing their truck. When they catch up to him, a chase ensues, during which Daryl cuts himself with a contaminated knife. According to this fan, a character in the comic series dies after being cut with a contaminated knife, so it stands to reason Daryl has been dying right before our eyes. More intriguing still, perhaps Daryl knew it and never intended to make it back to Alexandria alive.

8. Trump killed Daryl

TWD Daryl 3

TWD Daryl 3

It should tell you something that this fan's theory isn't the least plausible I've heard.

Shadowhunters: 6 reasons Malec happening is important for Alec's future

$

After much anticipation, the penultimate Season 1 episode of Shadowhunters finally brought Alec and Magnus together. Ever since the first episode, Alec has struggled with who he is and the feelings he's felt for both Jace and Magnus. However, that is all now changed and will hugely impact Alec's future.

More: Shadowhunters theory: Clary and Jace's gross incest story line is all a ruse

Before Alec and Lydia's wedding, Magnus sought out Alec to make sure marrying Lydia is what he really wanted. Once again, Alec tried to convince himself and Magnus that he was doing the right thing for himself. Even after making up with Jace and becoming besties/brothers again, Jace told Alec that he had to stay true to himself. That said, if saying "I do" (or whatever Shadowhunters say during a wedding) is what he truly wanted, then Jace would support him.

Well, during the actual wedding ceremony, Magnus walked into the church, which changed Alec's mind. Not only didn't he end up marrying Lydia (who was totally fine with it, because she told Alec he deserves happiness), but Alec walked down the aisle and kissed Magnus in front of everyone.

Magnus Bane
Image: Tumblr

After pressure from his parents, the Clave and even himself, all of the confusion he was feeling and trying to ignore his true emotions, Alec took his life by the reins and followed his heart. It was an important moment for Alec, and here's why.

1. He can live openly as his true self

There is no more hiding for Alec. Obviously, this is all new to him, so he might struggle here and there, but he can now live an open and free life without all of the stress of trying to cover up who he truly is.

2. He'll learn so much about who he really is

This is a different type of journey for Alec, which will also be a learning experience for him. He is going to see himself in a new light and look at life differently, all while discovering who he really is.

More: Why Shadowhunters' alternate dimension puts the show on an exciting path

3. He'll become a great role model for others

Alec's story line will surely impact others on the show and those in real life who have found themselves in similar situations. When you see a character like Alec coming into his own and learning to not be ashamed of who he is, it's a wonderful thing. There's no doubt many will look up to Alec and find inspiration from him.

4. He can actually be happy

Have you ever seen Alec smile more than he did after kissing Magnus? I can only imagine that a huge weight was lifted and now Alec can experience happiness like it should always be experienced.

Malec
Image: Tumblr

5. He'll get to experience real love

Alec deciding to marry Lydia wasn't for love, but to restore honor to his family name. Now that Alec has decided to follow his heart, he can hopefully experience what real love is, which he definitely deserves.

6. He'll greatly impact his family's history

There are many who support Alec for exactly who he is, including his sister Izzy, Jace, Clary, Lydia, Simon and, of course, Magnus. As for his parents, well, his father is warming up to everything, so at least he's trying. His mother, on the other hand, is disgusted that her son could be so selfish by choosing himself over his own family. By Alec standing up for himself, he is showing others to accept themselves is the most honorable thing he could've done for his family. Just imagine how much Alec's decision will impact his family's history from here on out.

The Shadowhunters Season 1 finale airs Monday, April 5 at 9/8c on Freeform.

Jinger Duggar's Counting On talk makes the Duggar girls' limits obvious

More: Duggars celebrate Michelle's birthday with sweet surprise

On the latest episode of Counting On, Jessa left Ben with Spurgeon alone for the first time (and shockingly corrected him when he referred to watching his own kid as "babysitting"). Jana and the oldest Duggar gentlemen starting building a treehouse, Jill and Derick reported from El Salvador, Jinger let us in on the fascinating world of car-flipping and, in what seems like it's going to be a regular feature on this show, the producers continued to ask about courting and the Duggar kids continued to look deeply uncomfortable.

When asked about Jinger in an interview, Jessa talked about her sister as someone with a big heart for whom the "possibilities are limitless." This isn't the first time on the show that the Duggar daughters have attempted to portray their futures as wide open — last week, Jana said she "wasn't sure" what the next five years held for her, and the girls have been pretty reluctant to talk about courting when asked by the producers.

Jessa's comment about the nature of her sister's life brought about some interesting conversation on Twitter as to its validity.

JJ 1

JJ 2

JJ 2

JJ 3

JJ 3

JJ 4

JJ 4

I think it's pretty clear that the Duggars are operating according to a different definition of "limitless" than the rest of us. Jinger might be able to flip a car and be a photographer, and Jana can do all the projects she wants, but they can't go to college (although apparently Joe can?) or move out until they're married, and they definitely, absolutely have to get married and have children, and the notion of a career outside the home is basically unheard of. The Duggar kids don't have female role models who live differently to Michelle and the women in their extremely closed community, unless you count the hugely scandalous Amy. Despite the collective fantasy that Jinger and Jana might actually break free from expectations and conventions, it's unlikely that it will really happen. (I know, I'm sad about it, too.)

What's super interesting about Counting On is its purported investment in making us believe that the Duggar kids are more mainstream than they actually are. Everyone's outfits have gotten better, but this business about unbridled possibilities, and the refusal to answer questions about marriage and courting, seems to indicate that the older Duggars are trying to de-emphasize it. Maybe it has to do with Josh, his very public infidelity and the fact that we're seeing Anna dealing with it on a weekly basis now. Maybe the kids are walking the line between attempting to be seen as relevant (read: cool) and also remain true to their religious beliefs. Regardless, I don't think viewers have yet been fooled into believing that marriage is actually negotiable for the Duggars. Nice try, though.

Why Adele's beard confession was the best thing I've heard this week

$
0
0

As if you needed another reason to love Adele, I'm about to give you one — while on stage in Scotland during a March 26 concert, Adele confessed, "When I got pregnant I had so much testosterone in me that I grew a beard."

What's more, not only is Adele not ashamed of sprouting some errant hairs during pregnancy, she's also totally forthcoming about the fact the little buggers aren't going anywhere... despite the fact her son, Angelo, turned 3 last October.

"I only cropped it last night," she told the crowd. "It's actually true. I'm not telling a joke. I actually have a beard, but I'm proud of it. I call it Larry."

More: Adele takes less-than-perfect Grammys performance in stride

Could I love this any more? I'd like to take a moment to give Adele all the applause for doing what, in my humble opinion, too few celebrities of her stature do: acknowledge something totally normal yet unnecessarily stigmatized about the female body.

Like Adele, my pregnancy with my son resulted in an abundance of body hair. In fact, I sprouted hair in places I didn't realize one could sprout hair. I distinctly remember calling my sister one night to tell her that if no one heard from me for days to send in a search party, because I'd discovered a jarringly downy patch of hair just below the back of my knee and I was going after it with a razor.

And don't even get me started on my toe hair during pregnancy. What once didn't exist had turned into tiny tufts at each joint. Like toupees. Or, should I say, toe-pees? (Ba-dum-tish!)

Here's the thing, though: I don't just have "unwanted" body hair during pregnancy. While the hormones kicked the stragglers into overdrive, the truth is I routinely find hairs where they don't belong that need to be plucked.

More: Adele's gym picture sums up how we all feel about fitness right now

I even have this one mutant hair that my husband has made a sport of finding. I kid you not, it looks like a hair from my head, but it always pops up on my back or shoulder or — TMI, you guys — even the top of my ass.

Is it kind of embarrassing to talk about? Sure, but that's the point: It shouldn't be. The more women are made to feel bad about these things, the more we will. You know? Why should we feel embarrassed about something that is a normal human occurrence? After all, we are normal humans.

Adele, in addressing the presumably thousands of people at her concert, stripped away the stigma. She made it cool to be honest and imperfect. More of that, please! Whether it's talking about periods, body odor or, yes, chin hair, we shouldn't have to feel ashamed when talk turns to one of these things that are a natural byproduct of having a body. We've all got those, right?

Hearing a celebrity like Adele make typically taboo topics for women, such as facial hair, a comfortable conversation isn't just refreshing — it's necessary. We need more women who aren't afraid to tackle the stuff that might feel uncomfortable at first, because that's how we'll effect change. That's how we'll change the conversation.

Teen Mom 2 viewers might actually be to blame for Jenelle Evans' crazy life

It didn’t take long after the premiere of Teen Mom 2 for the drama to erupt on Twitter. In a shocking turn of events, Jenelle Evans is not happy with the way she is portrayed on the show and thinks that MTV edits her to make her look worse.

Jenelle Evans tweets about MTV editing

Jenelle Evans tweets about MTV editing

On Monday the reality star tweeted, “After my exhausting day, media blowing up, and reliving my son being kidnapped from me and taken out of state is hard to watch.” She also had problems with MTV making her do a voiceover saying she wouldn’t let her ex, Nathan, see their son when the show also shows her calling Nathan to set up plans to see him.

More: Jenelle Evans explains why the police were at her home (again) this week

She does have a point there.

But the bigger issue might be encouraging all this fame and drama to begin with. In its seventh season, Teen Mom 2 is undoubtedly a successful show that has given many opportunities to the moms, who otherwise might have had a much harder time supporting themselves and their children. But, at least in the case of Evans, the price she and her sons are paying may not be worth it.

More: Teen Mom fans scold Jenelle Evans after pathetic 16th arrest

Evans is notorious for majorly unhealthy romantic relationships, a volatile relationship with her mother and criminal activity. There’s no way to blame MTV editing for any of those things. But would she have a better chance at getting her life on track if she wasn’t on a successful show?

I imagine if she didn’t have the MTV checks rolling in, she’d have to keep a steady job and maybe prioritize finishing school. That’d keep her busy and theoretically give her less time to get into trouble. I’m not saying she’d turn into a saint, but it’s much harder to make bad choices when you have zero free time.

More: Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans might be losing custody of her son

Maybe if fans decided against feeding into her drama and making the show a success, she might be able to get her life back on track.

Or maybe MTV editors are the most talented people in the world and she actually does have it all together. I guess we’ll never know.
