Stabler and Benson's Law & Order: SVU chemistry was hot offscreen, too

For years, we watched detectives Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson work side by side on Law & Order: SVU, and for years we watched their interactions ooze with sexual tension. Was it all just good acting on Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay's part? Well, obviously yes — but Meloni recently revealed that the real reason Stabler and Benson had such strong chemistry onscreen is because Meloni and Hargitay had some pretty rockin' chemistry offscreen, too.

"There's a lot to be said for that when you're working with someone for 16 hours a day, you better get along when the cameras aren't rolling as well as when it is," Meloni said in a recent appearance on Inside the Actors Studio, adding that he and Hargitay were constantly laughing and busting each other's chops. "That was priceless, I think for both of us."

More: Law & Order: SVU stars reveal Season 17 could cover Josh Duggar scandals

Meloni also spoke about how Hargitay was an amazing acting partner. "She was always ready for anything new. There was always an unspoken shorthand to what we were doing. That makes it just so much easier," Meloni said.

So if the chemistry was there for Meloni, Hargitay, Stabler and Benson, why didn't Benson and Stabler ever hook up onscreen? Well, Meloni has the perfect answer for that one.

More: My Law & Order audition was mortifying

"That, I think, they always knew would be the death knell of that relationship," Meloni said of producers choosing to keep romantic story lines between the detectives out of the picture. "I think they needed to keep that line taut — but very clear... keep the tension, never cross it."

What do you think, SVU fans? Should producers have given in to Benson and Stabler's carnal desires, or did they make the right choice keeping them platonic? Watch the clip below and let us know in the comments.

Don't expect Rosie O'Donnell to get married ever again

The ink is barely dry on her divorce settlement, and already Rosie O'Donnell is making a strong statement on her future love life.

Her split from second wife Michelle Rounds seemed to take eons, and the trauma of the dissolution of their relationship seems to have taken its toll on O'Donnell.

"She's never getting married again, you can print that," O'Donnell said about herself outside of court in New York City today, according to Page Six.

More: Rosie O'Donnell's divorce news means things are looking up

O'Donnell and Rounds battled for over a year about custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Dakota, only to wind up with shared legal custody. Their divorce case was exceptionally bitter, and Rounds eventually allegedly overdosed on pills.

The "rather large settlement agreement," as the judge put it, is in line with the couple's prenuptial agreement, sources said.

Rounds' attorney did not specify if his client planned to experience wedded bliss ever again, but did say she felt a great sense of relief.

"My client is totally thrilled that this long odyssey is finally over," he said.

O'Donnell was previously married to Kelly Carpenter, with whom she has three other children. She is still estranged from daughter Chelsea, who ran away from home last fall to live with an older boyfriend and unsuccessfully attempted a relationship with her biological mother. During this period, O'Donnell was rumored to be dating her longtime friend Tatum O'Neal.

Tia Mowry is standing up to body-shamers and holding her haters accountable, but she may have taken it a little too far this time.

One Instagram user commented "getting fat" on the picture and Mowry saw it. She took a screenshot of the comment and posted it on her account, calling out the hater for her fat-shaming message.

Mowry wrote a lengthy caption on the photo and even tagged an organization she thought was the woman's employer, attempting to get her fired from her job.

"I don't normally do this, but I wanted to prove a point," Mowry captioned the photo on Instagram. "I just posted a few days ago about embracing and uplifting others about body image. Here, @miekk_ felt the need to say I was getting fat. I took a look at your profile and I was sad to see that you WORK for YOUNG African American girls aiding in their studies. I hope this isn't what you would tell your girls? Does your BOSS know that this is how you degrade other WOMAN? @hbcutravelers Internet BULLYING is not cool and it needs to stop. Would you say this to my face? Is this how you speak to yourself when YOU look at yourself in the mirror.

I'm standing up for the people that like to hide behind computers cyber bulling calling many gay, skinny, slut, ugly, fat, the list goes on and on. Cyber bullying needs to stop!"

The woman deleted her account and the organization, HBCU Travelers, issued a statement, revealing that @miekk_ did not work for them, but was just a supporter of their mission.

"HBCUTravelers does not encourage bullying in any way, shape, or form," the organization wrote on Instagram. Grey's Anatomy: Meredith's night made me feel guilty for crushing on Thorpe

$

After weeks of the prospect looming over our heads, tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy brought the inevitable: Meredith Grey kissed a man who wasn't Derek Shepherd... and then some.

More: Is it too soon to see Meredith with another man on Grey's Anatomy? (POLL)

Admittedly, I've been happy that Meredith has been able to open up to the idea of finding love — or something like it — again. And, despite adoring MerDer's reign on the show, I've been pretty thrilled with the way this season has panned out so far without McDreamy (sacrilege, I know).

Grey's Anatomy
Image: Giphy

But all that isn't to say I don't still wince every single time someone mentions Derek's name. Or I see Meredith wearing his lucky scrub cap. I, too, miss Derek's presence on the show and in Mer's life.

So, like many fans, I wasn't sure how to feel a few weeks back when Meredith finally let her guard down and gave her digits to a hunky military surgeon from another hospital named Dr. Thorpe. To be honest, though, I was shocked by how quickly he won me over.

For starters, he's obviously swoon-worthy. But he's also so clearly enamored with Mer! Derek would have wanted her to find someone who thinks she's the sun, right?

Enter this week's chain of events.

The two have apparently been on a few dates. Two, maybe three — depending on who you ask. Thorpe walks Meredith to her door and tells her goodnight, yet it isn't until he is walking away that Meredith gives him the green light to go in for the goodnight kiss.

More: Grey's Anatomy cliffhanger means Meredith's love life may be steaming up

Then, it happens. It's quite possible I heard the world rip open in that moment, or maybe it was the deafening roar of the voices in my head screaming-slash-squealing in some curious combo of horror and delight. Seriously, I had so many feels.

Ultimately, Thorpe stays the night and, ahem, you know. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

The next morning, Meredith starts screaming and kicks him out. He's panicked, Maggie's panicked, Amelia's confused. It's utter chaos and no one really knows why. All Mer's sisters know is that they are worried about her and this dude needs to skedaddle.

After he leaves, Meredith holes up in her room, only to emerge hours later and freak out. Or, to be more specific, clean-freak out. Meredith, whom I don't remember ever cleaning in all these seasons, starts fanatically cleaning... everything.

Grey's Anatomy
Image: Giphy

Amelia and Maggie join in, because what else are they going to do? Eventually, they page Alex and tell him there's an emergency. He cancels several surgeries to rush to the house, only to discover Meredith, Maggie and Amelia trying to put together a long-dormant vacuum cleaner.

Shortly after, Meredith is frantically cleaning shelves in the hall closet when her hand stops on a nubby-looking fleece blanket. She smiles. She kind of laughs a little. Then she says matter-of-factly, "We're done cleaning now."

Um, OK?

When Alex goes in to check on her, she's sitting by the fire with the old blanket draped over her shoulders. And she tells him how it was Derek's blanket — one that he loved and she hated, and now he was gone and Meredith still had that old, stupid blanket.

She remembers a night he made a bed for her with that blanket in the very spot they were now sitting, in front of the fireplace. Naturally, this calls for some adorably heart-rending flashbacks. I may have sobbed into my after-dinner cantaloupe a little. Don't judge me.

More: Why I don't mind Meredith's latest near-death experience on Grey's Anatomy

She thought she was ready. She wanted to be ready. Maybe she was, in fact, ready for the physical aspect of moving on. But emotionally? Emotionally she wasn't ready. And she especially wasn't ready for something good. She wasn't ready for something that felt great and natural and exciting.

Something that felt like she and Derek did.

After all of this, Thorpe shows up at the door, explaining he's been worried about Mer all day. He didn't bail or run as fast as he could from the crazy, screaming lady. Rather, he was legitimately concerned.

Meredith explains to him that she isn't ready just yet. To which he replied he would give her some time and, "I'll be waiting, because I have a feeling you're worth waiting for."

Please excuse me while I swoon. Hard.

Grey's Anatomy
Image: Giphy

This entire episode has me feeling some kind of way. It made me miss Derek and ache for Meredith to have him again... but, in all honesty, it also made me crush on Dr. Thorpe even more. As in, I've been crushing on him since we met him. There, I said it!

I can't help it. He's so darn cute and he makes Meredith smile. I feel like such a traitor to the cause. Shun me if you must.

Did tonight give you mixed emotions, too? Commiserate with me via comment!

Bringing Up Bates' Nathan Bates finally spills the details of his courtship

Nathan Bates officially announced his courtship to Ashley Salyer tonight on Bringing Up Bates. And while it was no surprise that the two are dating — since there's been speculation for months now — what was unexpected was the grandeur of the announcement.

More: Two Bringing Up Bates stars denounce Duggar family ministry

Bates took the time to talk with Salyer's family and his own, including have a heart to heart with Salyer's father about courting his daughter. He also went to elaborate lengths to officially ask Salyer to be his girlfriend. He asked his family's advice and wanted to make sure that when he popped the courtship question that Salyer was surprised.

Even matriarch Kelly Jo Bates was sure to warn Nathan not to go too big too quickly otherwise he runs the risk of undermining an eventual engagement. But Nathan was all about the big gesture, so much so that I kept getting confused about whether he was proposing or just asking Salyer to be his girlfriend.

No ring in the picture just yet, so don't get too excited.

More: Bringing Up Bates' Michaela and Brandon have lots of honeymoon firsts

But the two have already been talking and hanging out for six months as of the show's filming, so you can definitely expect the next step to be in the near future for the couple if all continues to go well in their courtship.

Nathan was adorably cute talking to his parents about his intentions with Salyer. And I have to say, as a girl on the dating scene, it's incredibly refreshing to see that there are still gentlemen in the world. Salyer is clearly a lucky girl!

Unfortunately, there was one member of the Bates family who wasn't overjoyed with Nathan's courtship. Poor Lawson Bates is still very much single and watching his younger brother beginning the process of finding his wife has got Lawson all sorts of angsty.

More: Bringing Up Bates' Chad & Erin Paine reveal baby's gender and name (EXCLUSIVE)

Of course, Lawson's objections to Nathan's courtship were all in jest... I think. Now it's time for Lawson to confirm if those Jinger Duggar rumors are to be believed.

What did you think of Nathan's courtship announcement tonight? Is he going too big too soon?

Did Lisa Rinna shave her head? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posted an Instagram photo of herself completely bald, but some fans aren't sure if the photo is real or just a photoshopped April Fools' prank.

Rinna captioned the photo, "Omg this just happened!!!! I feel so free!!!! Thank God I've got great wigs and extra wig glue for my QVC appearance tomorrow! #BaldIsBeautiful."

"It was a joke referencing constant wig accusations. Not a dig at cancer patients who lose hair. People can be bald by choice and not be making fun of cancer," one fan replied.

"First of all anyone can see that's photoshopped big time, second she is not making fun of cancer. I can't say I understand the horror of having to fight cancer and lose my hair, but I really don't think she is meaning to insult those that are," another Facebook user responded.

The Catch: Why Benjamin's weird love triangle means danger for Alice

$
0
0

As we discussed last week, the premise of The Catch is deceptively simple. Let's review: Alice meets Christopher. Alice and Christopher start dating. Alice falls in love with Christopher. Alice and Christopher get engaged. Christopher vanishes and Alice realizes that she's been conned into loving a man who never existed.

But the twist is this: Benjamin — who used the alias of Christopher for the year he spent with Alice — actually is in love with Alice. Unlike Alice's love for the imaginary Christopher, Benjamin actually had the opportunity to know and love the very real woman who Alice is. It's no wonder he's become attached to her.

This is all very romantic and heartwarming, but the reality is far more complicated — and potentially dangerous.

More: The Catch haters fail to understand what Shondaland is all about

Given that we're only two episodes into The Catch, there's a lot we've yet to learn about Benjamin's history with fellow thieves Margot and Reggie. It is very clear that they are a tight-knit crew; the three have worked together for years, and Benjamin refers to them as "family." The romantic dynamic between Benjamin and Margot is also obvious, but it's unclear precisely what their history is and how their relationship status would be defined. They kiss affectionately, but not intimately. They are bound together professionally, but probably not maritally. If Benjamin left his line of work, his relationship with Margot would likely evaporate.

And it does seem to me that he's considering leaving the fold. Why else would he strategize a way to keep himself in Los Angeles, close to Alice, the woman he scorned? Sure, he seems to enjoy the thrill of stealing expensive jewelry and chatting up princesses, but he's also keeping an eye on Alice, whether that means sneaking into her apartment to hang an original Maria Kreyn painting on her wall or watching her while she meets with FBI Special Agent Jules Dao. Er, the more we look at the evidence, this all feels a lot less romantic and a lot more stalker-like, doesn't it?

More: Shonda Rhimes' The Catch trailer has a genius twist (VIDEO)

But it is romance, Benjamin proclaims! After Reggie catches him creeping on Alice and Jules, Benjamin assures his friend that he's doing it out of love. He never meant for this to happen, but he can't change how he feels! He's so in love that he refuses to leave Los Angeles even though that is what his boss/lover has demanded of him! He's so unashamed of his love that he'll tell Margot himself!

The Catch - I'm in love with Alice photo

The Catch - I'm in love with Alice photo

Not so fast, Reggie cautions — Benjamin tells Margot the truth, Alice's life will be in serious danger. Leaving their line of work isn't like quitting any old job, and Margot's jealousy and feelings of betrayal could lead her to hurt or kill Alice.

Does this mean that Alice's life is in immediate danger? Given that she's the focal point of the series, that seems highly risky and unlikely. But it does mean Benjamin will be taking serious precautions to make sure that his love is as safe as possible.

More: The Catch: 7 things we already know about Shonda Rhimes' new show

Still, Margot will eventually find out Benjamin's secret, and then what? Alice isn't going to die anytime soon, but could she be seriously injured? Could the stalking we've seen already be upped to an even more serious degree? Will her trust in other people be shattered even more severely than it already has been?

Or is Reggie trying to play Benjamin in order to keep him focused on his work and away from his ex? It's possible that Margot isn't as violent as we're led to believe — everything he says to Benjamin could be one big distraction. Fans on Twitter certainly seem to suspect that Reggie's claims are a tad hyperbolic.

It's probably safe to assume, then, that Alice is safe... for now. But how long will that keep up? We'll definitely have a better understanding of her risk in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

Is there still hope for Scandal's Olivia and Fitz?

$

Scandal's Olivia (Kerry Washington) and Fitz got their flirt on tonight and it made me pretty certain the show is gearing up for the return of Olitz in the very near future.

More: Scandal's Olivia Pope is supposedly a Republican, but it makes no sense

I've never been much of a Jake and Olivia fan, especially this season. He's totally creepin' me out! Fitz all the way. But I had honestly given up on the two of them finding their way back together. I had given up on dreams of Vermont.

But then Fitz sauntered in the room with all his sexy charm and told Olivia that he wants to run a clean campaign. He made profound declarations of trying to be a good, honest man and my heart melted for him all over again.

Oh, and he also threw out some foreshadow-y lines like, "This is our chance to move forward," and "We're not these people anymore. We don't have to be these people anymore."

That sounds like a not-so-subtle start to a new beginning if I ever heard one.

Clearly, Fitz is all in.

It's Olivia who needs some work.

More: 12 ways the Scandal presidential candidates are better than our real ones

Remember, the reason the two of them broke up in the first place is because Olivia realized that she liked the freedom she had as a single lady. She didn't want to be first lady. She didn't want to be Fitz's wife. And she wasn't ready to start a family with him.

I'm not sure if those goals will ever change for Olivia. If that's the case, then I hope the show doesn't force them back together for the sake of some steamy onscreen chemistry. Even though I love their chemistry.

Show creator Shonda Rhimes could just have them become platonic besties. After all, a woman doesn't always need a man to get her happily ever after.

But that doesn't mean Fitz can't be an added bonus.

More: Scandal's Scott Foley spills on Jake and Olivia's future together

Fitz and Olivia ended the episode drinking bourbon together and talking politics. Yes, this election they're on different teams. But, let's be real, that's only going to last until the primaries are over. Give it another season and they'll be back to working together (both in business and in their personal lives, I'm betting).

Do you think tonight's episode proved Olitz is on the mend? Do you think Fitz and Olivia's happily ever after will be together or should Olivia stick to being on her own?

Why Iggy Azalea deserves some girl support in Nick Young cheating scandal

The Iggy Azalea and Nick Young cheating scandal seems to be getting messy, and it looks like our girl Azalea could use some serious female support now more than ever.

In case you need a refresher, a video of Young admitting he's cheated on Azalea started to gain major traction on Wednesday. Young's Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell allegedly secretly taped the video, and it was posted to YouTube on March 24.

More: Iggy Azalea got cheated on — and she's just happy everyone knows

In the video, Young can be heard detailing his various sexual escapades. At one point, Russell asks Young, “You was 30, she was 19? What about Amber Rose, you ain't never tried?"

"No, she knows my girl,” Young replied.

Azalea addressed the video on Twitter, saying, "'Hmmm i see D Angelo Russell is trending... I actually liked his film. Thanks bro."

During a post-game interview on Wednesday night, Young also vaguely addressed the situation.

"I think it's best me and D'Angelo handle our situation in a private manner," the basketball player said. "It's something we need to talk about. What happened is what happened. We've got to work on it."

Russell also commented on the video, telling The Vertical on Wednesday, "I am sick. I am sorry about recording the video. I can't repeat myself enough on that: I am sorry I recorded that video. I feel horrible. I wish this never happened."

Azalea responded to several fans' questions about the scandal on Twitter.

"What's up with you and nick now..," a fan asked the "Fancy" rapper on social media.

"Nothing really. Im chillin for now," Azalea replied.

Another Twitter user hinted that they have further proof that Young cheated on Azalea. The singer responded, "If theres [sic] proof of cheating, shed [sic] be doing me a favor to post it actually. im not tryna marry a cheater."

More: James Corden does Carpool Karaoke with Iggy Azalea

If Young did, in fact, cheat on Azalea, does that mean the wedding is off? Well, Azalea says the situation could be more complicated than that.

Another fan asked the singer, "OK but....I mean...I guess I'm just....if a dude cheated and we was already in the s*** deep we could work it out...or nah?"

"I agree," Azalea replied. "Nothing is black and white in life. every situation is different depending on the circumstance."

Young reportedly posted then deleted a strange tweet on Thursday, saying, "2016 McDonald's sale breakfast bowls, Burger King sale hotdogs dudes taken side chick pics on the gram and tattle taling [sic] is cool .. I'm done."

While she didn't give much away in the caption, opting to only write "#tbt" (so we can't be sure exactly when the picture was taken), both stars look rather youthful, and their styles are another indication of how dated the image is: Spears can be seen sporting a denim vest, and DiCaprio is wearing a Boston Red Sox cap.

Joe Giudice started his 41-month prison sentence for fraud charges last week, and after just a week behind bars, his sentence has already been reduced.

Us Weekly reports that Giudice will get an early release from Fort Dix Correctional Institution in New Jersey as his sentence has had five months knocked off. According to the publication, Giudice was originally set for release in August 2019, but according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, his new release date is now March 14, 2019 — a rather significant difference after just one week, no?

However, according to Bravo's The Daily Dish, Giudice has previously claimed he could be out of prison within 18 months if he takes part in some sentence reduction programs in prison.

This is great news for the Giudice family, as being behind bars is no doubt having an emotional toll on not only Joe, but also his wife, Teresa, and their four daughters. Although, Teresa has been putting on a brave face in public.

She was most recently spotted with her brother, Joe Gorga, while supporting her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga's spring fashion show for her brand, Envy By Melissa Gorga.

It's no secret that Cuoco wears her heart on her sleeve and falls in love quickly — she married her ex-husband, Ryan Sweeting, after just six months of dating. But instead of praising Cuoco for her ability to love, people are belittling her for it.

"New bf already?" victorialiciagrant wrote.

"Here we go again new relationship. Let's guess married within 2 months divorced in a year?" hashtagomgitslee commented. While robynne1018 had similar thoughts, writing, "They'll be married by next week."

"Funny how quick girls can move on," ben___merkley shared.

There is so much judgment in this world and not enough love, and the reaction to Cuoco's post is further proof of this. Shouldn't we be happy for someone (regardless of whether they are a celebrity or not) if they have found happiness? But instead, the common reaction seems to be to make nasty and completely unnecessary comments.

Luckily, not all of the comments on Cuoco's post have been negative, and one fan in particular, m_r_night, made an important point with his comment.

He wrote, "I don't get it. She shares her happiness on here with us and some of the comments are just so unbelievably negative. I'm sorry, but saying stuff like. 'I can't see this lasting,' based upon nothing but your own fantasy about her life built around a tv show is just ridiculous. I don't know whether to be angered or saddened by comments like that. Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller's season of Dancing With the Stars is going to be super expensive if he can't stop farting, judging by a recent viral clip of him and DTWS partner, Witney Carson.

Turns out, Miller is so gassy that Carson has started to fine him $100 every time he lets one rip during rehearsals. Maybe it's time for Miller to invest in some Beano?

She shared the sad news of her mother's passing on Instagram with a family photo from her and Bowie's wedding day. Her caption asked fans and media for privacy. In a 2014 interview with The Guardian excerpted by Page Six, Iman shared some kind words about her mother's powerful political background. "My mother was an activist, so was my father,” she said. “They came from a generation of young Somalis who were actively involved in getting independence for Somalia in 1960... So I remember when I was 5 how busy our house was. People would come in the middle of the night, meetings after meetings, and protests and all that. I grew up in the midst of all of that. And she instilled that in me. The fact that nobody can take your self-worth unless you give your consent."

In addition to the heartbreaking loss of her husband of 24 years, Iman also lost her longtime hairdresser Teddy Antolin this year. Antolin introduced Iman to Bowie in 1990.

Mischa Barton's diva behavior is having an effect on DWTS

Mischa Barton's return to television is quite exciting for some, namely those who get to watch her on TV. For those who have to work with her, according to Radar Online, it's a nightmare. An insider shares that Barton is "just not coming off as a nice person" to her fellow cast and crew members on the Dancing with the Stars set.

More: Mischa Barton's financial woes just got even worse

"It is really quite unfortunate because when she first came on the show, members of the cast and crew said they were hoping that she was going to be the person that they used to love watching on TV. They were actually really excited to meet her," says Radar's insider. Her diva behavior means the team has ended up avoiding her instead.

The insider continues, "Some people are claiming that Mischa is the most self-entitled and rude celebrity that the employees of the show have ever had to work with! She does not discriminate who she is rude to, either."

More: Mark Ballas' mysterious injury might just keep him from DWTS

Even more surprising — and hilarious to picture — is Barton refusing to engage with her fellow dancers. When Geraldo Rivera was kicked off the show this week, she was the only person who didn't hug him goodbye, says the source. "Misha (sic) had practically no response at all to Geraldo getting kicked off. All that did was add to the feeling on set that Misha (sic) does not want to be there, and she just wants to take the money and run." Mischa, be nice to your elders! Then maybe they won't rat on you to the tabloids.

Lyle Boudreaux's romance woes on Party Down South are far from over

Are Mattie and Lyle headed for a hookup — or, better yet, a full-blown relationship? That was the question on everyone's minds at the close of the last episode of Party Down South so, suffice it to say, it's been a long week of waiting to find out if they, uh, sealed the deal.

Alas, this week made it known pretty early that Lyle and Mattie are not meant to be... at least not right now. As Lyle explained as he got out of bed, "There might be a place in my heart for me and Mattie, but I just got out of a relationship and I'm not ready to get back in another one."

Womp, womp.

Oh well, there's always next season — damn it, no there's not. I suppose we'll have to resort to stalking these guys on social media to see if anything ever comes of their flirtation. We've all got our crosses to bear, right?

Because the housemates apparently didn't want to join me in mourning the loss of the potential power couple Mattie and Lyle would have been, they all decided to head out on the boat for an afternoon of fun in the sun.

After gently trying to jostle Tiffany from her slumber (aka totally manhandling her), the Terror Twins become resigned to the fact that the gang is just going to have to leave her behind for the day — presumably to recover from the internal injuries they just gave her.

Once at the sandbar where they decide to shore their boat, Lyle wastes no time hitting on, well, "everything with a vagina," as Murray so eloquently put it.

At some point in his socializing, Lyle comes across a group of people from Europe. This sparks an intense debate among Daddy, Walt and Murray over whether or not Europe is a continent. And while you might assume Walt and Murray were laughing hysterically at Daddy for claiming Europe wasn't a continent, it was actually the opposite.

PDS
Image: CMT

Daddy was right, and now the joke's on the Terror Twins. I mean, surely someone told Walt and Murray that Daddy was right and Europe is a continent. Like, they realize this now, right?

"They are always busting Daddy's chops, and sometimes rightfully so, but don't sleep on Daddy," SallyAnn Salsano, 495 Productions president and founder, and creator and executive producer of Party Down South, told SheKnows in an exclusive interview.

"He's actually got more going on than you might expect. Sometimes he drops some knowledge, and we are all just as blown away that he is right as when he has a crazy Daddy-ism. And if no one told Walt and Murray that Daddy was right, they are about to find out the same time as America!" Salsano revealed.

It turned out to be an afternoon of unexpected occurrences then because — despite Murray "gettin' the grill fired up and ready" for Boudreaux to "come over here and drop the meat on it," aka getting a girl's number — Lyle wasn't interested in calling any of the ladies he spent the day priming.

On the other hand, Tiffany was dialing up a storm trying to reach her offshore boyfriend, Bubba. As you'll recall, he told her he had to work through the weekend but was actually plotting a surprise visit.

PDS
Image: CMT

When Bubba arrives, Mattie and Hott Dogg sneak him up to Tiff's room and lure her there. Hooray! They pulled off the surprise! Apparently kind of miraculously, since Hott Dogg typically can't keep a secret to save her life.

So, for the moment, all seems right with the world. As Walt puts it, "One thing that kinda keeps the house calm is Tiffany getting the D."

PDS
Image: CMT

Later that night, the housemates decide to celebrate Bubba's visit with a trip to a local piano bar called Savannah Smiles. Daddy, who is back to his typical Daddy-isms, exclaims, "I'm gonna bend somebody over the piano and play pork chops on their ass."

Pork chops, ha! Gotta love that guy.

Things seem to be going well until Lyle bets some dude 60 bucks that Daddy can beat him in an arm-wrestling match. Daddy does, naturally, but then Lyle's money disappears. This causes Wild Lyle to come out in the worst way and, ultimately, Boudreaux gets the boot.

For real, though, I'm dying to know: Did the footage ever get reviewed to find out who jacked Lyle's money?

Yes and no, according to Salsano. "Out of pure morbid curiosity, we did and it didn't give any clear answers. It was there and then it was gone, but no clear evidence as to who [took it] or how it went missing," she explained. "That said, word to the wise: don't steal from Lyle. He will clearly go full-on baboso if he thinks you cheated him."

More: The Party Down South crew rocks NASCAR, but [SPOILER] winds up crashing hard

Other interesting happenings at the bar include Daddy stealing a girl right from underneath Walt's nose, only to have the girl introduce her baby daddy... who wants Daddy to join them in a threesome.

Mattie got propositioned about a porno last week, Daddy for a threesome this week — clearly, Savannah is a lot kinkier than I remember it being. (Planning my next visit now.)

But back at the house, things have gone downhill fast for Wild Lyle. Although chatting with Tiffany and Bubba seems to cheer him up after he admits he is still destroyed over Santana, he takes a turn for the worse after they go to bed.

PDS
Image: CMT

In fact, he decides he needs to call Santana and make it perfectly clear where things stand. "You know what? F*** you," he tells his ex when she picks up the phone. Yep, I'd say that's pretty clear.

By the time everyone else gets home, Lyle has been reduced to a sobbing, screaming mess in the yard. Fortunately, his ol' buddy Walt is able to talk him off the ledge. He might suck at geography but, by God, that Walt can give a good pep talk.

Inquiring minds want to know, though: Is this the closure Lyle needs, or is that still forthcoming?

"In relationships, I always feel like full closure never comes until months and months later, no matter what conversations take place," said Salsano. "When you're that far in with someone, there are bound to be triggers all over the place that take time to heal. I will say, however, that there is more to come with these two before it's all said and done."

Interesting, indeed.

After all of that, it seems the only one still in the mood to party is Daddy. And by party, I clearly mean host a frickin' raver in his mouth. At 2 a.m. this guy (who must have a freakishly high metabolism) gets it goin' with literally every. Single. Thing in the fridge.

The next day, the gang decides to take their battle of the sexes that began with last week's Segway race (which the ladies won, holllaaa) to the paintball field. This time, the girls do not emerge victorious — I blame Walt's outfit for distracting them. It was mental warfare; I'm sure of it.

PDS
Image: CMT

The girls did earn some pretty cool battle scars to show for their loss. Plus, assures Salsano, they didn't lose for lack of trying.

"I think a few of the girls had some pent-up hostility that day! Most of the girls killed it, which I loved, of course. Obviously, Walt doesn't mess around and is good at whatever he does. For me, I just always love the girls versus boys stuff, because the girls usually put the boys in their place."

PDS
Image: CMT

Then, since it's the last Saturday ev-er for the Party Down South-ers (excuse me while I ugly cry for a minute), everyone decides to head out to the bar. Mattie, in particular, is super stoked to "go out with a bang." You know, quite literally. She's on the hunt for some Vitamin D, y'all.

Everyone is having a blast, but perhaps none more so at first than Mattie, who is poundin' back shots. She straight up asks one dude to go home with her, and he does a vanishing act. This only fuels Mattie's drive to bag a marlin.

Outside, she pulls out all the stops, making out with some guy to entice him to come back to the house. Only the guy turns out to be a tool and cruelly walks back to his friends, making a fool of Mattie.

More: Party Down South insider spills on the most bizarre moment in PDS history

What's up with that, bruh? Sounds to me like these idiots are just intimidated by a woman in charge of her own sexuality. "Oh, for sure!" Salsano emphatically agreed. "In person, Mattie has such a presence. No. 1, she is stunning and No. 2, she is tall, lean and in the best shape of her life. So it's always one of two things: either guys are too intimidated to approach her, or they want to knock her down. Either way, their loss."

Amen to that. Still, after 10 weeks of radio silence, Hurricane Martha makes her debut — but we'll have to wait until next week to see if she gets downgraded or becomes a full-blown Category 5.

In a continued April Fools' Day prank, People claims that Stamos had a meltdown while at the Netflix offices to film said trailer. According to their article, they've obtained footage (which, to be clear, is nowhere to be found, although we would love to see it) of Stamos "throwing a glass and hurling profanities." Uncle Jesse, we know you would never do anything like that.

Sister Wives fans rejoice — the Season 7 cancellation rumors were false

More: Sister Wives family welcomes baby 17

Sister Wives fans, be joyful! After reports that the show would not be returning for Season 7, it seems that TLC has in fact renewed it. Rumors of a cancellation surfaced after Kristyn Decker, Christine Brown's aunt, told media that the show is fake, citing the family's recent move from Las Vegas to Los Angeles as a play for ratings. The family initially moved from Utah to Las Vegas to escape the state's anti-polygamy laws (another ratings boost).

Season 6 was certainly a turning point for the show. Christine told Kody that she felt deeply disconnected from him, and he pretended to care for a second before going back to devoting all his attention to Robyn, who was then pregnant with his 18th child. Meri and Janelle took steps toward resolving their issues with each other, but that got quickly overshadowed by Meri's catfishing scandal, which also succeeded in taking over the entire Internet. Oh, and there was also the small matter of Kody divorcing Meri, his legal wife, and then legally marrying Robyn so he could adopt her three children.

More: Sister Wives fans go nuts over Maddie Brown's engagement pics (PHOTOS)

Fans are pretty unified in their feelings that Robyn is Kody's favorite, and Season 7 spoilers indicate that the new season will focus on Robyn and Kody and not so much on the other wives, who will effectively be wallpaper. Christine, Janelle and Meri have indicated that they're not the happiest with the current situation, and there are certainly plenty of reasons for any one of them, if not all, to leave the show. While Meri's scandal seems to have abated in real time, it's not clear what the repercussions have been on the inner workings of the Brown family — has it all been overshadowed by Robyn and Kody's new baby? If the show is actually getting renewed, we might find out the answers, for better or for worse.

In addition to hunter, reality star and Duck Commander CEO, Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson can now add Fox News employee to his résumé.

The network announced Friday that Robertson will officially be joining Fox News as a contributor, helming a 45-minute podcast on Fox News Radio. The podcast will feature celebrity interviews and will focus on faith and family issues, according to Fox.

Robertson's big podcast debut is Monday, April 4 when the first three episodes will be released, including an interview with Baltimore Ravens tight end Benjamin Watson, according to Us Weekly.

Faith and family are obviously topics Robertson is well acquainted with. He is the proud father of five children and his wife, Korie Robertson, announced several months ago that they are in the process of adopting a sixth child.

"We've had a lot of questions about the cute kid popping up in our photos lately," Korie wrote on Instagram in January. "We are excited to be in the process of adopting a new son! He's been with us since May, but we wanted some privacy and time for him and our family to bond before telling the world (It's a bit of an adjustment coming into this big, crazy family, ha)."

"He's amazing, and we are all so thrilled to have another kid around the house. Couldn't keep the good news to ourselves any longer!" Korie continued. "We appreciate your prayers and support for our family!"

In addition to being a family man, Robertson and the rest of his extended family are also very outspoken about their conservative values. Robertson takes a softer approach to topics such as homosexuality than some of his other family members, but still takes the stance that being gay is a choice.

"Some of the things he said in that interview I didn't agree with and I've even said so, and he's even come out and said, 'Yeah, that was a mistake,'" Robertson said in a 2014 interview after his father, Phil Robertson, caught some major backlash for comparing homosexuality to bestiality. "With things leading to bestiality, it was a mixed bag there of things. And then he quoted a Scripture, and that's what's in the Scripture. What I want people to know and what we've said over and over and over is that we love everybody."

Will you be tuning in to Robertson's new podcast?

Disick posted the photo from long ago on his Instagram account yesterday, and while the girl with him remains unnamed, she could be (but definitely is not) a young Kourtney Kardashian.

Regardless of whoever this long-ago possible crush might be, we know one thing for sure: she can never hold a candle to the love he still feels for his ex, Kardashian. Earlier this week, he gave fans huge hope for a future reconciliation with his baby mama.

"She's like my best friend," he said on the Australian radio show Kylie and Jackie O. "I'll love her 'til the day I die."

While he did clarify that they are not currently back together or even considering it at this point, they do spend tons of time together and they are not ruling out anything for the future.

"I don't think anything is ever simple," Disick said. "But, you know, I'm not the first person in the world that's gotten separated from a significant other — we're just trying to make the best of it, and life goes on.

"Things aren't easy, but, you know, things are going very well right now, and I'm just happy that we're able to be on good terms at the end of the day… You know, I never thought a lot of things would happen in my life the way they did, so I don't really rule anything out," he said. "I have no plans in my mind of what's going to happen. So, you know, if things are meant to be, maybe they will be. I really can't say yes or no."
