The Walking Dead finale: Who's alive, who's not, and who's barely hangin' on?

$

Well, we knew it was gonna be bad, but tonight's Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead was basically a case study in being tortured by the television. If, like me, your blood pressure is officially through the roof after that 90-minute, anxiety-addled episode, take a minute to recover.

OK, time's up! There's much to discuss, people. So here's your warning: there are potential spoilers ahead, so proceed with caution.

Now, as you well know, the entire season so far has been a slow build toward Negan's arrival. We've heard talk of him. We've seen his "Saviors" do his dirty bidding. But, with one simple yet powerful teaser trailer after last week's episode, we knew we would finally see his face in the finale.

A face which, of course, belongs to none other than the incredible Jeffrey Dean Morgan — a face which, for the record, did not disappoint when it finally made its debut tonight.

More: The Walking Dead then and now: How the zombpocalypse has changed the core survivors

Having said that, the arrival of Negan clearly heralds a whole lotta trouble for our favorite survivors. And unfortunately, as some fans predicted, the finale ended in the cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers involving Negan, a whole frickin' row of Rick's crew and Lucille, Negan's barbed-wire-covered baseball bat. No bueno, you guys.

Giphy
Image: Giphy

On The Talking Dead after the fact, showrunner Scott Gimple and TWD comic-creator Robert Kirkman both weighed in about the decision to end the episode in such dramatic fashion.

"First of all, as a fan, I love cliffhangers. I love that tension and that anticipation," said Kirkman, touching on how there are often cliffhangers in the comic series. What transpired tonight, he explained, was about "the loss of that confidence" Rick and his crew have been feeling. Or, to put it more bleakly, it was about "tearing Rick Grimes down."

Added Gimple, "People are not a part of this story, like with reality TV. We want you to be one of those people in that lineup. We want you to feel that suspense and that terror and that pain. And we're going to deliver you a story next season that justifies it."

Since there is no such thing as a fast-forward button on life to get us to fall's Season 7 in a more expedient fashion, let's take stock of where everyone stands after the finale.

Who's alive (as far as we know)?

TWD
Image: AMC

We saw Rick leave Father Gabriel and Spencer back on watch at Alexandria (Father Gabriel stepping up his game, who woulda thought?), so presumably they are still there and safe for the moment. Same goes for Carl's crush Enid, Carol's lover Tobin and the other Alexandrians. We can also be pretty sure that Morgan is still alive, considering the scene he shared with Carol — more on that in a minute — in which two armed men appear and offer to help him.

Who could be alive... or not?

TWD
Image: AMC

Unless my brain just stopped working from a build-up of anxiety and wine, I don't recall seeing Tara at any point in tonight's episode. This is interesting because I also don't recall seeing her in last week's episode. When will she pop back into the picture? Where has she been? If she isn't back at Alexandria and she isn't with the group lined up by Negan's Saviors at the close, where is she?

Who's barely hangin' on?

TWD
Image: AMC

So, Morgan followed Carol and — hooray! — he found her alive. Sort of. While she was physically OK, our favorite suburban badass was not what you might call mentally or emotionally sound. After nearly falling victim to a walker, she gets tackled in the caravanby the dill-hole Savior that tried to kill her last week. Luckily, Morgan shows up and saves the day, but not before the jerk puts a bullet in Carol's arm and leg. When Morgan tries to tell her she's going to make it through this, she begs him to let her go. Carol, hon, you're breaking our hearts with this.

TWD
Image: AMC

Also hanging on by a thread is Maggie, who has most definitely seen better days. As you'll recall, she doubled over last week in what was clearly some sort of pregnancy duress. At this point, she looks as though she is entirely too close to keeling over. In fact, Rick was trying to get her to Hilltop and medical care when their group was intercepted by the Saviors.

More: The Walking Dead: 7 crazy theories about Maggie's baby

Who's alive but one Lucille-swing away from a smashed skull?

TWD
Image: AMC

The suspense! The suspense is killing me. At the finale's close, Negan lines up Rick, Carl, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Michonne, Sasha, Eugene, Abraham, Aaron and Rosita — and he promises he is going to beat the bloody hell out of one of them for their group crossing Negan in the first place. At this point, every single one of them is in grave mortal danger. Again, can it be fall yet?

Who's dead?

TWD
Image: AMC

We may not have lost a ton of key characters this season, but there were many casualties among the allies. In the first episode, we lost newcomer Carter who, to be honest, was kind of a tool anyway. When the Wolves invaded Alexandria, we lost Shelly the food snob, Sturgess the gardener, Erin the book-club Nazi, Holly, Annie the supply runner, Barnes the construction worker, David the lovesick letter writer, David's heartbroken wife Betsy, and Richard the tower guard. In episode 3, we very memorably lost Nicholas when he shot himself and landed atop Glenn in a throng of walkers (who proceeded to tear Nicholas' intestines out). Even more memorably, we lost Alexandria's noble leader Deanna in episode 8, just before losing Jessie and both her sons, Sam and Ron, during the mid-season finale. And, finally, poor Dr. Denise got shot through the eyeball in episode 14.

TWD
Image: AMC

Then there is the death we'll all be waiting with bated breath to discover — the victim of a vicious beat-down by Negan's Lucille. Although we truly have no idea who Negan brutalized, Gimple teased on The Talking Dead that "there are hints there." He also revealed that, "the end of the story is what you saw... when we reveal who's on the receiving end of that, that's the start of another story." While many people are betting on Glenn because of his comic fate, my money is on Abraham, Eugene or Daryl after watching the finale. Here's my logic: No. 1, at this point, the whole Glenn thing seems too easy. Surely they want to throw us for a loop? No. 2, as Negan is crushing mystery person's skull, he remarks that they are taking it like a champ. In my mind, the most stoic of the bunch would definitely be either Abraham or Daryl (prepare to riot).

Katy Perry and Dolly Parton teamed up at the Academy of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night, and it was undoubtedly one of the most memorable moments of the awards show.

More: 10 things Katy Perry and Dolly Parton have in common

Taking to the stage in a very colorful getup, Perry was joined by her musical idol and "personal hero," Parton, and it was not just the cowboy boots and sparkles that grabbed everyone's attention, but also the powerful performances of some of Parton's greatest hits: "Coat of Many Colors," "Jolene" and "9 to 5."

But it wasn't just Perry who was "out dreaming her dreams" with the performance. Nope, she and Parton successfully made a lot of fans' dreams come true, too — and they took to Twitter to share their excitement.

Miranda Lambert isn't just an incredibly talented musician; she's also an inspiration to other women, and her gracious ACM Awards acceptance speech for Female Vocalist of the Year reminded us all why she's such a strong role model.

More: ACM Awards infuriated fans into a Blake Shelton vs. Miranda Lambert debate

Accepting the award for the seventh year in a row, Lambert chose not to make the speech about herself, but rather focused on the other women in the industry and how inspired she was by them.

She started by praising fellow nominee Carrie Underwood, saying, "Carrie, you just killed it. I got to sing with Carrie on Friday, and she is literally the perfect singer and such an inspiration to me, and I love you, girl."

Lambert then noted the talent of a lot of other rising stars in the industry.

"I love seeing tonight a bunch of new country girls up here shining, singing their great songs that they wrote themselves," she said. "I'm really excited for women in country music, and I'm glad to be here as one of them."

Lambert chose to acknowledge other talented women rather than feeling threatened by them. She chose to inspire other female musicians with an entire speech dedicated to women in country music, and her refreshing approach (as opposed to the normal catfights and feuds we read about in the media) is empowering.

And while her speech may have been short, her words were powerful and will resonate with women across the globe — and this is what makes Lambert not only a brilliant artist but an inspiring woman.

Fans took to Twitter to praise Lambert for her humble words.

Paris Jackson celebrates her love for new boyfriend in a beautiful way

Michael Jackson's daughter is all grown up: Paris Jackson turned 18 on Sunday, April 3. But it was not just the day of her birth that she chose to celebrate, but her love for her boyfriend, too.

More: Paris Jackson's finger may have just confirmed her marital status

Taking to Instagram, Paris shared a sweet picture of herself sporting a new look (a short blond hairstyle) as she locked lips with her boyfriend, Michael Snoddy.

Fans are pleased to see she is so happy and, for the most part, comments on the post have been positive.

"What a beatiful [sic] couple," bisaudd wrote. "@parisjackson This picture is just so beautiful," val_wood76 shared, and michaelsdignity agreed, writing, "I seriously love this Paris. I hope your [sic] happy."

According to People magazine, the couple has been dating for at least a few weeks, and Snoddy is a heavy metal drummer who plays with the band Street Drum Corps.

They are adorable together, and are clearly not afraid to show their love on social media — Jackson has proven she's open about sharing her personal life with the public, as she previously posted several loved-up pictures of herself and ex-boyfriend, Chester Castellaw.

Jackson posted a second photo from her birthday, this time of herself and Snoddy embracing while at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

She captioned the image with, "Best birthday ever."

Her friend, Niki Berger, also posted a photo of their time at Disneyland and wrote a touching tribute to Jackson in the caption. Jackson also took to Twitter to thank fans for all their beautiful birthday messages.

It's great to see that Jackson has found someone who makes her happy, but some comments on the picture are less excited about her romance, with remarks such as, "Liked Chester better tho, more cuter [sic] but I suppose this one looks more suited to her music taste and style...," "What about chester? Haha," and "im hella [sic] sad wtf."

However, it does not seem like Jackson is letting the negative reactions get to her, and this is something we applaud her for because there's too much judgment in the world and not enough love. If Jackson is happy, then shouldn't we all be happy for her, too?

RHOC star Alexa Curtin documents scary details of alleged police rape

Alexa Curtin, the daughter of former The Real Housewives of Orange County star Lynne Curtin, has filed a lawsuit that accuses an Orange County police officer of raping her.

Curtin alleges that the attack happened after the officer stopped her car. The lawsuit, obtained by Page Six, details the events Curtin says happened.

"The Deputy searched Plaintiff’s vehicle. Plaintiff had some of her clothing in her vehicle. While searching...the Deputy found some of the Plaintiff’s underwear and began inappropriately questioning Plaintiff about her underwear, asking if the underwear belonged to her, how many pairs she had, why she needed the underwear, etc.," the lawsuit reads. "The Deputy then informed Curtin that he had to attend to ‘another more pressing matter,’ but ordered Curtin to remain in her vehicle. He returned 20 minutes later, in his personal vehicle and out of uniform, and sat in the passenger seat."

More: Brooks Ayers is trying to start drama about Vicki Gunvalson's new man

It continues, "The Deputy began issuing orders to Plaintiff. Based on information and belief the Deputy said, 'Since you are still here, I am going to f*** the s*** out of you.'"

According to the lawsuit, Curtin, who says she was too afraid to tell the officer no, "complied" with his demands. Her lawyer told The Daily Mail that she waited to report the rape because she was afraid that filing a report would make it easy for her alleged rapist to find her and retaliate.

She also says that she's gone public with her story and "waived her right to anonymity in the case, to encourage any additional potential victims of the officer to come forward."

Thomas Rhett & Lauren Akins' love story makes them the cutest country couple yet

If you saw the American Country Music Awards on Sunday night, no doubt you noticed the adorableness of Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins. Rhett may have taken home the award for Single Record of the Year for "Die a Happy Man," but it was clear to anyone in a 20-mile radius that his most prized possession is his beautiful wife, Akins. Too bad there wasn't an award for #relationshipgoals. Rhett and Akins would have taken that home, too.

Here are seven things to know about this insanely cute couple.

1. They've known each other since first grade

thomas rhett

thomas rhett

Just in case you didn't think this pair could get any cuter, get this: Rhett and Akins have known each other since they were around 6 years old! If that's not a song waiting to be written, not sure what is!

2. They dated when they were 15...

thomas rhett

thomas rhett

...but broke up. Rhett told Taste of Country that he and his wife, then Lauren Gregory, dated for six months when they were 15. Sadly, though, it didn't work out. They stayed friends and wound up dating other people. "I don’t think she really noticed me ’til we were 16,” Rhett said. He then added, “When I heard that she had ended her other relationship, I moved in for the kill. We kissed, and that was it.”

3. They got engaged around Christmas

thomas rhett

thomas rhett

Rhett and Akins got engaged in December 2011. Rhett popped the question at Akins' favorite restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee, Giovanni's. “There was a [wine] bottle, and with a silver Sharpie, I wrote, ‘Marry me?’ on the bottle, and she wrote ‘Well, duh, yes’ on the bottle,” Rhett told radio station Y108. “Somebody cued 'The Way You Look Tonight' by Frank Sinatra, and we danced in this little cigar room. It was pretty awesome.”

4. They wed in October 2012 outside of Nashville, Tennessee

thomas rhett

thomas rhett

And yes, there's a video of their wedding. Dying.

5. Akins keeps Rhett humble

thomas rhett

thomas rhett

Just because Rhett is a country superstar, it doesn't mean it's all about him. “I’ve even come home a lot of the time and talked about what I did on the road and what songs I’m gonna cut, and then I realized I haven’t even asked my wife how her day was,” Rhett told Taste of Country. “So I think this business can be very consuming for some people. But thank goodness that my wife is there to call me out every single time, so my head shrinks a little bit.”

6. Rhett made a YouTube video of their fairy tale

thomas rhett

thomas rhett

Well, if you watch the video you'll see that it wasn't all a fairy tale. The pair spent a long time being friends while Rhett tried to win her over. But, in the end, love prevailed. So cute!

7. Rhett had to persuade Akins to be in his video

thomas rhett

thomas rhett

Rhett's "Die a Happy Man" video features his wife (and himself) in Hawaii, being all loved up. However, Akins wasn't super keen on being in the video at first. "It took a lot of convincing to get her to do it," Rhett told Billboard, despite the fact that she's the inspiration behind the hit song. "We were in the car, and Tim McGraw's 'Just to See You Smile' came on," Akins recalled. "I was like, 'Babe, people don't write songs like this anymore. It's so sweet — it just melts your heart. Write a song like that! About something besides whiskey, beer or taking a girl home in a big truck.'" And thus, "Die a Happy Man" was born.

How adorable is this couple?!

We think Sadie made a great decision taking her cousin to prom, because while taking your family member as your date may not be traditional (and probably not the date Sadie had in mind when she dreamed of her prom night), she made an important decision to go and have fun without needing an actual romantic interest at her side. She made the night about herself, and that in itself is so important.

Fans are thrilled to see that she enjoyed her prom, and the comments on the post are filled with positive messages, including one from blondebombpow_62, who wrote, "How FUN to go to prom with your cousin! Sadie also shared a stunning picture of her black-and-white dress — she looks so grown up and very elegant.

There's been plenty of speculation over the years surrounding the relationship status of Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, even after Leslie's character Ygritte was killed off the show, leaving fans of her romance with Harington's character, Jon Snow, longing for more than the painful, bitter end provided by writer George R. R. Martin.

And now, it appears those fans will have their wishes granted: Harington and Leslie hit the red carpet at the Olivier Awards in London as an official on-again couple. It's not quite a surprise, considering the two have a long history and they were photographed together looking particularly couple-ish earlier in the year. That's not stopping fans from celebrating their official status as an item, though; Twitter lit up Monday as followers of the famous on-screen couple celebrated their newly rekindled off-screen romance.

Finally, they've provided a little closure by confirming once and for all that they're a couple IRL.

Now, if only they could answer our other burning question: Is Jon Snow actually dead, or will he return on Season 6 of Game of Thrones?

Andy Cohen has had enough of Kenya Moore's gay bashing on RHOA

Kenya Moore is getting to be too much even for Andy Cohen. On the latest installment of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, Cohen addressed the entire cast's — and specifically Moore's — "gay-bashing attitudes" toward Kim Fields' husband Christopher Morgan.

Morgan was present in the studio as his fellow RHOA castmates mocked and questioned his sexuality. Morgan himself addressed the gay rumors, asking Moore where they began. As Bustle points out, she claims not to have started them.

Cohen, an openly gay man, jumped in for what he called the "taunting and derogatory" mocking of Morgan. While Moore and her castmates may not have started the rumors — it's useless to trace gossip back to its source — their perceived closeness to Morgan and visibility makes it especially unfair of them to mock him publicly. Of course, fans would trust the RHOA castmates' opinion of Morgan. If you trust Bravo cameras, they seem to spend plenty of time with him.

The Voice prediction: Christina Aguilera will break the girl curse

The Voice has had some very talented female coaches over the years, but thus far, none of them has managed to emerge victorious. Instead, Team Adam and Team Blake have snagged the most victories, with Usher and Pharrell able to edge them out on occasion. It's high time that a gal wins the show, and now it seems more possible than ever.

Christina Aguilera has made a few questionable choices thus far this season (for example, choosing the boisterous Kata Hay over the more subdued, but also more talented Chelsea Gann), but she's still managed to cultivate an incredibly strong team. She had to make several very difficult decisions during the Knockouts, and while tonight's selection (which, incidentally, involved Hay once again moving forward) resulted in Blake Shelton snatching one of the show's best artists, it still left Aguilera poised for the win.

Several predicted an eventual win for the talented team, although nobody seems to know which of her contestants is most likely to be the very first Team Christina champ.

There is no frontrunner extraordinaire such as Tessanne Chin or Jordan Smith for Season 10, so it's hard to say who will blow viewers away and join the show's long list of victors. But if the members of Team Christina continue to deliver strong performances, they may help their coach finally break the girl curse. There would be no better way for Aguilera to hand over the reins to Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys than with a well-deserved victory.

Thomas Ravenel takes his pregnancy ignorance too far on Southern Charm

More: RHOP's Karen Huger has no right to relate womanhood to motherhood

Southern Charm, Bravo's delightfully soapy and scandalous reality series about Charleston socialites, returned on Monday night with the premiere of its third season. It's been almost a year since the show last aired and, oh, my God, I missed it so much. If you're not familiar, the main drama on the show revolves around the fiery and often deranged romance between Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel. Last season, after the birth of the couple's first child, Kensington, Thomas ran for senate and lost, and along the way, his relationship with Kathryn deteriorated and the two broke up. In the season premiere, Ravenel and the black eye he got in a bar fight threw a dinner party, and everyone gossiped about the fact that Kathryn was once again pregnant with Thomas' baby, even though the couple was (and is) broken up.

More: Andy Cohen has had enough of Kenya Moore's gay bashing on RHOA

Thomas is notorious for his philandering — last season, the cast repeatedly joked that he's been with every woman in Charleston with maybe three exceptions. He's also incredibly sexist, and it tends to come out every time he talks to, or about, Kathryn. Throughout last season, he accused her of being unstable and paranoid, although he repeatedly gave her reasons not to trust him. (He didn't get the memo about why it's messed up and misogynistic to refer to a woman as "hysterical," not that that would have stopped him.)

On the premiere, Thomas continued to talk about Kathryn as though she were some sort of harpy. Someone really needs to update him on how babies get conceived, because he definitely thinks people can get themselves pregnant. He claimed he was over the drama, and also that Kathryn was keeping their daughter, Kensington, from him. Here's the thing: Not being constantly patronizing, cruel and dismissive of Kathryn could help solve that problem.

At a fancy party thrown by Craig and his girlfriend Naomie (in South Carolina in the summer), Thomas ignored Kathryn until he was drunk enough to talk to her. And then he picked a fight about the color of Kenzie's nursery, but not before he told the cameras that whatever he said to Kathryn would "send her into orbit." It's not a mystery as to why Kathryn's angry at Thomas. He's treated her badly on camera and off for a long time, and has refused to take their relationship seriously, while at the same time keeping her around to sleep with (minus the birth control, which yes, is on both of them). I am already so over this "Kathryn is shrill and irrational" story line, and I've been over it for two seasons. I wish Thomas would do better, but I really don't have faith that he can or will.

Kanye West's money troubles are apparently all Kim Kardashian's fault

There are a lot of things you can criticize Kim Kardashian for, but her business savvy is not one of them. Unfortunately, the one person who should be listening to her financial advice isn’t paying attention. Her husband, Kanye West, is reportedly spending way too much money and may be close to going broke.

The rapper married into one of the most extravagant families in America, so you can’t totally blame him for spending money frivolously. But the difference is that everything the Kardashians touch turns to gold. Kardashian created a multimillion-dollar app. That’s just one of her many products. And even though rap fans love West, he’s still a musician who struggles with low album sales.

More: Kanye West tweets confusing updates on his supposedly huge debt

Keeping up with his Kardashian may just be impossible for him. A friend of West’s told Hollywoodlife.com, “Part of him does believe he will be broke because of the luxurious and cavalier lifestyle he and Kim live. Either that, or he will be working from the grave to keep her and their image alive.”

Part of me believes Kardashian won’t let him go broke. I don’t know what their prenup looks like, but she is an incredible businesswoman who probably has plenty of financial advisors who will stop her or her husband from spending their last dollars on something silly, like another trip to Paris. Not to mention, Kris Jenner. That woman will move mountains before she lets one of her daughters fail.

It is sad to see West’s pride constantly keep him from being successful. It’s as if he doesn’t have anyone in his corner to keep him grounded or let him know that being the center of attention is not always necessary.

Only time will tell whether or not he will spend his way into ruin, but one thing is certain: Kim will not follow suit.

Michelle Rodriguez says she's jealous of Paul Walker's death.... what?!

Michelle Rodriguez recently opened up about the ways that Paul Walker’s tragic death affected her. Like every one of her Fast and Furious castmates, Walker’s death caused incredible sadness in her life. But unlike her cast members, or any normal person for that matter, Rodriguez also claimed that Walker’s death made her feel jealous, too.

More: Paul Walker's daughter will live with mother — post-rehab

In a clip from the new documentary The Reality of Truth, Rodriguez said, "I did everything I could possibly do to hide from myself. And I'll tell you that my Ayahuasca trip made me sad that he left me here. It wasn't a sadness that he's gone. It was more like a jealousy that he's there first."

This is one of those moments when you hope she was misquoted. Unfortunately, I think she’s just self-centered and a little strange.

More: Paul Walker's daughter posts sweetest throwback pic of her dad (PHOTO)

Ayahuasca is a hallucinogenic drug that supposedly connects you with your deep subconscious and reveals a truth to you that you may not have been aware of before. It is totally possible that while on it Rodriguez saw where her friend was and wanted to join him, but she certainly shouldn’t say that out loud to anyone. And definitely not if that person is holding a camera.

More: Friends & costars in shock after death of Paul Walker

Neither Walker’s daughter, Meadow Rain, nor his family has commented on Rodriguez’s statement yet. With any luck, they haven’t reacted because they haven’t heard about it. They lost their father, son and brother. Listening to Rodriguez say she’s jealous that he gets to die before her is not something they need to go through, no matter how much time has passed.

Hopefully, Rodriguez takes this as a learning opportunity and is more careful the next time she’s talking about her late friend or anyone who has died.

OK, fine – Miranda Lambert & Anderson East sound like a good match

There are many people who still secretly wish that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will see the error in their ways and realize they were perfect for each other. But if you're one of these people, then you may just change your mind after discovering how happy Lambert is with her new boyfriend, Anderson East.

More: Miranda Lambert proves she's so over Blake Shelton with new photo

Lambert and East took an important step in their relationship on Sunday when they made their first public appearance as a couple while walking the red carpet at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena for the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards.

And a source revealed to E! News that, while East "was a little nervous" about walking the red carpet, he was "so happy to be there by Miranda's side."

The new couple appears to be very happy together as an onlooker revealed that they remained by each other's side for much of the evening and that East was very attentive to Lambert.

The awards could have been awkward given that Shelton and Lambert were both in attendance, but according to the publication, they did not run into each other— not that Lambert was trying to avoid him.

More: ACM Awards infuriated fans into a Blake Shelton vs. Miranda Lambert debate

"She just did not go out of her way to bump into him. If they did, she would [have said] hi," the source revealed, adding that Lambert "was not nervous at all" about the possibility of seeing Shelton.

In fact, she's pleased he has found his own happiness with Gwen Stefani, according to the source.

"She is in a totally different space than [she was] months ago. She has no issues with Blake and is happy that he is in a good place in his life and also in love," the source said.

It's great to know that Lambert and Shelton are being so mature about the entire situation because things can so often get messy when emotions are involved.

However, Lambert chose to deal with the divorce in the right way, and instead of wishing her ex-husband ill and speaking badly of him, she channeled her emotions into her music, and in time found happiness with someone else.

That said, Lambert and Shelton will always have some pull to each other, and as any photos of them together during their relationship will remind you, they were once deeply in love. And while that love may now be over, it's just beginning for Lambert and East, as a source revealed to E! News that the pair have a "crazy connection."

More: Miranda Lambert and Anderson East's relationship takes the next step

"Whenever they are together they act like two free spirits... Miranda adores Anderson. They understand each other. Anderson has given Miranda this confidence she hasn't felt in some time. They are very supportive with each other and their careers," a source told the publication.

Another source revealed that the pair is "serious" and have both met the other's parents — who are fully supportive of the relationship.

Love isn't the only thing that binds these two, though. They also share a few common interests, and one of the major ones besides music happens to be animals. The source revealed that "Anderson is a huge animal lover."

He sounds like a genuinely good guy, and we're thrilled to see that Miranda Lambert has found happiness again. But what do you think of her relationship? Do you think Anderson East is the right guy for her? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section.

DWTS' Mischa Barton admits why she left Hollywood after The OC

The competition is heating up on Dancing With the Stars, and this season is proving that you have to deliver the personality and the dance skills — it’s not enough to ride to the finals on personality alone.

Week 3 brought the usual sob-fest of “Most Memorable Year” night, where the celebrities pick the year that means the most to them based on events in their lives. A few stars shined out there on the dance floor, but for Mischa Barton, the week brought more challenges for the former The O.C. actress.

More: 22 throwback DWTS photos of some of your favorite show moments

She and dance pro Artem Chigvintsev have not had a natural partnership or friendship all season long. In the package that aired before her dance, the clip showed her criticizing the dancer after they left the dance floor in Week 2.

“I was relying on you to make it a positive experience,” she chided Chigvintsev.

“You were already in the zone of not wanting to do this,” he replied. “That’s my honest opinion.”

This quitter attitude seems to have not only infected her entire season of DWTS, but her entire career. It’s sad to watch Barton tell herself she can’t when she has already had tremendous success.

In fact, she described herself as an "instinctual, reactive person" and The O.C. "machine" and her time in the spotlight on a very hot show became too much. She left the The CW show in 2006 in a spectacular fashion — the writers had her character killed off in a car accident.

Mischa Barton left Hollywood

“I went back to England [in 2008] and it was a year of self-exploration,” she admitted.

What she left out of the DWTS interview was the fact that her personal life was also spinning out of control. Barton was arrested for a DUI and driving without a valid license in 2007.

The former teen star tried to turn around her attitude on this dance floor this week. While she managed a smile and a bit of spark, Barton was the second contestant voted off Season 22.

Nyle DiMarco Wins the night

Nyle DiMarco Wins the night

While Barton stumbled, model Nyle DiMarco shined. He is proving that his disability is not stopping him from dancing with rhythm and freedom of movement. He and partner Peta Murgatroyd’s Tango traveled across the ballroom just like 2012 global trip he was commemorating through dance.

TV viewers also watched Mark Ballas and UFC fighter Paige VanZant battle it out in the ring with a modernized Paso Doble. While the drama appeared to be on the dance floor, the fans held their breaths over Ballas’ back injury, which prevented him from dancing last week.

More: Jodie Sweetin is refreshingly honest about her failed past relationships

The other superstar continues to be Boyz II Men’s Wayna Morris, who has proven that all dance styles work well for him so far. He and partner Lindsay Arnold gracefully waltzed to an a capella version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" by the boy band. The ease at which these two glide across the dance floor is hard to match.

Doug Flutie's emotional waltz

Doug Flutie's emotional waltz

On the other side of the spectrum, it’s starting to look like fans are losing interest in former NFL star Doug Flutie. Even though his emotional waltz dedicated to his deceased parents had the audience in tears, he might be the first athlete to exit next week since he and Karina Smirnoff were back at the bottom of the scoreboard and viewer votes again this week.

There are also several talented dancers who are stuck in the middle of the pack just begging for a major breakthrough. Good Morning America meteorologist Ginger Zee, Pittsburgh Steeler Von Miller and former Broadway star Marla Maples are the three to keep your eye on. They all have the goods; now they just need to make a bigger leap on the scoreboard.

What are your thoughts on Mischa Barton's tumultuous turn on DWTS?

Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry's got a new look – but it doesn't have many fans

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has been making some changes to her appearance during the past few months, with the most recent change being to her hair — and there's a very noticeable difference.

More: Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry has undergone dramatic butt surgery (PHOTO)

Taking to Instagram in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Lowry uploaded a photo of herself with dreadlocks. She didn't offer much information about how she came about her new look, instead opting to leave the caption blank. However, there has been an overwhelming reaction to the post and fans don't seem to be very impressed.

Comments on the post include one from cgracexo, who wrote, "Uhhhh...... Wtf. Her hair was so pretty before...."

"You are very pretty, but this does not look good on you!" summy_29 wrote. And krista0814 agreed, writing, "You're such a beautiful girl with beautiful hair. Please take those out!"

"Why?? You have beautiful hair!" brittmaki asked Lowry. "Now it's going to have so much breakage. I hope this is just a snap chat [sic] filter."

More: Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry opens up about her miscarriage in emotional interview

However, some followers feel that Lowry should not be sporting dreadlocks for an entirely different reason, and she has been slammed for cultural misappropriation. Among the comments is one from ryoothmars, who wrote, "@kaillowry so you saw black girls doing something and just couldn't let us have it huh."

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, is it really necessary to share it if you simply do not like the way that someone looks? Yes, Lowry is a public figure and, yes, she chose to share the snap via social media, which invites people to comment and share their reactions. But just because she is in the public eye does that mean that we have to state our opinions on her hair?

It's something that people tend to forget, but celebrities have feelings, too. She is still a person, and just because she chooses to live her life in the public eye doesn't mean she chooses to receive unfair, negative comments.

NCIS: 10 things I want to happen before DiNozzo leaves

$

I'm so sad Michael Weatherly's character Anthony DiNozzo is leaving NCIS. Since they got rid of Ziva years ago, aside from Gibbs, DiNozzo has been my favorite character. He's capable, witty and an all around good character. I'm hoping that since he's leaving to start his own show with CBS, DiNozzo's character will leave things on a positive note.

More: 11 binge-worthy TV shows that were cancelled way too soon

Here are a few things I would like to see happen in DiNozzo's final episodes.

1. Resolve things with his dad

DiNozzo's father moved to DC to be with his son. What happens to him when DiNozzo leaves the show? He should probably leave as well, since he doesn't really belong if DiNozzo is gone. I would like to know where he goes.

2. Give DiNozzo a promotion

He's an experienced agent. Give him his own team somewhere other than DC. Don't kill him off — his new show may not work out and you may want him back. Leave it open for a return or at the very least guest appearances. Since Ziva and Kate are gone forever it would be nice to at least have one great character from the past that you can bring back every now and then.

3. Make an episode around DiNozzo's movie quotes

He is always quoting from old movies and I would love to see an episode where they do some sort of spin-off from one of these or an episode done in this style. I don't really have a preference for which one they choose as there's so many good options.

4. Give the guy a girlfriend

DiNozzo is currently without a girlfriend and the poor guy can just never seem to get it right, though he's definitely a ladies man. These last few seasons he really seems to be searching for someone more permanent to settle down with. The door may be shut with Dr. Jeanne Benoit due to her marriage, but I would like to see a new girlfriend for him before he leaves. Maybe even someone he's interested in that's going to be at his new location.

More: 8 reasons HGTV's Fixer Upper is the best home renovation show

5. Give him one really big arrest

In his last episode, he needs to nab one more big bad guy. Pick someone off their "most wanted" wall and let DiNozzo get the arrest.

6. Throw an Abby-style going away party

They need a going away party for him at the end at which Abby gives him one of her really strange presents. These are always awesome, and he shouldn't leave the show without a special gift.

7. A final Gibbs smack

There needs to be one more head smack from Gibbs before he leaves. Gibbs hasn't done this to DiNozzo in a long time, and he needs one more before he goes — maybe one just for good luck.

8. Some final words of advice from Ducky

Maybe he gives a short farewell address at DiNozzo's going away party. Ducky always has great advice and DiNozzo shouldn't leave without a little extra wisdom.

9. One last prank from McGee

Ellie should help him with this and together they should be able to pull off something funny that Gibbs sees coming and DiNozzo does not.

10. A farewell prank from DiNozzo

DiNozzo needs to return the prank from McGee and Ellie with something that's not discovered by them until a later episode. Or maybe something that his replacement discovers partway through next season. It can be something to remind us of what a great character he was.

Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin is using her troubled past to inspire us all

Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin is currently performing on Dancing With the Stars, and she couldn't be happier to be there. But during this season's "Most Memorable Year" week, she also shared a very emotional story about her struggle with addiction and how she has emerged from a dark place in her life to once again pursue her dreams.

More: Jodie Sweetin gets an adorable surprise visit on DWTS (VIDEO)

"When the original Full House wrapped, I was 13 years old," she explained in the pre-dance package, E! News reports. "It was a huge shift in my life. Everything that I'd known from the time I was 5 years old suddenly ended, and it was saying goodbye to a family that I loved very very much. At such a young age, it really was a huge loss for me that I didn't know how to grieve. Drugs and alcohol just sort of numbed everything. I was doing cocaine, and ecstasy, and alcohol, and all that. The darkest moments for me weren't necessarily ending up in the hospital and all that. It was those quiet moments alone when I'd just hated the person I'd become."

Sweetin echoed these sentiments during an interview with People magazine, in which she explained that her story is one of "rising up, overcoming, falling down and getting back up again."

More: Jodie Sweetin is refreshingly honest about her failed past relationships

"It's been a slow process of finding myself," she told the publication of her past trials and tribulations. "It's made me develop and blossom and find my true happiness in myself and in my career and relationships. The pieces are finally coming together and creating a beautiful picture that I never could have imagined."

The true happiness she speaks of is, in part, thanks to her loving fiancé Justin Hodak (the pair got engaged in January), who has been supporting her throughout her time on Dancing With the Stars, but she also thanked the audience for their support and encouragement.

"My parents, fiancé and some really close friends will be in the audience," Sweetin said of her performance. "I will have a lot of people in the audience who are supporting me, and I'm looking forward to sharing with them how they've helped me get to where I am today."

More: DWTS: Antonio Brown totally made an awkward sex joke on-camera

It could not have been easy for Sweetin to share her emotional journey with fans. In fact, she made a brave decision to so openly discuss deeply personal issues and shortcomings. Not only does this endear Sweetin to me (because we are all human, and we all make mistakes), but it also proves just how much has changed, and she reinforces the fact that those days are a thing of the past and that she never wants to go back to them. But she also reminds us all that we can be happy if we so choose, no matter what obstacles we have faced.

Is Jodie Sweetin one of your favorites on the show? Are you surprised by her confessions about her difficult past? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
