The New York Patriots have released Chad Ochocinco... see how he feels about it here!
Chad Ochocinco broke the news of his release to fans personally Thursday night via Twitter. The wide receiver wrote, "Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play for the 'Patriot' organization... fans were f****** wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best..."
While some fiancee's might take a compassionate stance in reaction to their loved one's dismissal, Ochocinco's saw the opportunity to have a little fun. The Basketball Wives reality star tweeted, "Aww baby you got cut @ochocinco I got your back! I'm the bread winner now, which means I make the rules! #Boom."
When one Twitter follower asked Lozada what she would be getting Chad Ochocinco, father of four, for Father's Day she replied, "A job lmfaooooo..."
When faced with criticism for joking at Ochocinco's expense Evelyn Lozada shot back, "If you don't get my humor with @ochocinco then F off! Not meant for you to 'understand' #Smooches." She later added, "Tweeps know my jabs are all in fun. Can't be so serious all of the time! Enjoy life & laugh!"
Joining in on the fun were other Twitter users, such as @DJScratch who wrote Thursday, "Ochocinco & Larmar Kardashian can do a reality show called "Done Deal Records."
Sports commentator Skip Bayless made the prediction, "Gut feeling: @ochocinco might be closer to becoming a highly successful full-time media member than making another team next season."
While @Peytonshead jabbed, "Sorry Pats fans. You won't be hearing 'Brady to OchoCinco' this season......just like last season." Ouch!
Nonetheless, Chad Ochocinco remains in as good of spirits as Evelyn Lozada. When a Twitter user tweeted to him the compliment, "You're so positive, it's refreshing," he responded, "Unless i lose my Starbucks card.. I'll f*** somebody up about my s***." -- and we know that's no joke!
