A commercial saved Rosie O'Donnell during a heart attack

Rosie O'Donnell just revealed something pretty scary: she almost died from a heart attack earlier this month.

Rosie O'Donnell had a heart attack

Leave it to Rosie O'Donnell to put her scary brush with death in poem form. The comedian and actress revealed on her blog that she had a heart attack — and it almost killed her.

"last week i had a heart attack/here is what happened/on tuesday morning/while walking in a parking lot in nyack/i heard a loud commanding voice/'can u help me,'" she wrote.

Rosie O'Donnell's f***ing hellhole of a show canceled >>

O'Donnell turned to see "an enormous woman" who was stuck in her vehicle. She helped the woman out and went about her day. But she started feeling some pain in her chest and arms.

"a few hours later my body hurt/i had an ache in my chest/both my arms were sore/everything felt bruised," she wrote, adding that soon her skin turned clammy and she felt nauseous.

O'Donnell then thought it might be a heart attack, so she Googled the symptoms and took a Bayer aspirin.

"thank god/saved by a tv commercial/literally," she added.

Rosie O'Donnell: I don't want Lindsay to go out like Whitney >>

She later went to a cardiologist, who sent her for an EKG and then to the hospital. It turns out that one of her arteries was 99 percent blocked — a "widow-maker" heart attack, meaning most victims would die from it.

O'Donnell had a stent put in to help clear the blockage, and she's "now home and resting comfortably," according to her rep.

The heart attack came just weeks after the former host of The View revealed that her fiancee, Michele Rounds, suffers from desmoid tumors.

"She is recovering from surgery [she had] in June," O'Donnell told People of the rare condition. "[She's] getting stronger every day. We have joined the fight against this disease, raising money and awareness."

Sounds like they're both lucky to be alive. Let's hope O'Donnell takes this as a wake-up call to pay more attention to her health.

Did Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel get married?

Some Internet sources reported that the couple had been married in Jackson Hole, but it turns out Timberlake wasn't even in Wyoming over the weekend.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake

The Internet rumor mill was once again active over the weekend with news that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were married in a private ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Gossip columnist Janet Charlton wrote on her website that the couple had been married.

"A source just told us that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are getting married in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as we write this," Charlton said. "They pulled a fast one on everybody! Jessica lied in a recent interview when she was asked about the upcoming nuptials and insisted 'We haven’t planned a thing!'"

But it turns out this couldn't be further from the truth.

"Despite rumors to the contrary, the engaged duo didn't wed in a 'top secret' Jackson Hole, Wyoming, ceremony on Saturday," said Us Weekly.

The local media even picked up on the rumor. KPVI, a TV station just over the border in Idaho, tweeted on Saturday: "Hey, did anyone see Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel walking around Jackson Hole wearing new wedding rings this weekend?"

The Gossip Cop also checked into the rumor and was not happy the story had been put on an entertainment website in the first place.

"'Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have reportedly tied the knot in a top secret ceremony on August 18!' begins a piece from HollywoodLife, once again carelessly regurgitating an internet rumor without bothering to fact check," said the website.

Both Us Weekly and Gossip Cop said they confirmed the falsehood of the rumor with a source close to the couple, at least one with a family member.

The weekend wedding actually wasn't even a remote possibility for the couple. In fact, "remote" might be the key word, as Timberlake was in Puerto Rico over the weekend. The musician-turned-actor is filming his new film, Runner Runner.

"One eyewitness tells Us Weekly they saw Timberlake head into a movie with a group of pals Saturday afternoon," said the magazine.

Timberlake and Biel are not strangers to Jackson Hole. Timberlake proposed to Biel in the small Wyoming resort town last December.

The couple is reportedly taking their time and enjoying their engagement. Biel is currently doing promotions for Total Recall, so it may be a while before they say "I do."

Live! with Kelly chooses new co-host

The show has finally made its long-awaited decision about who will fill Regis Philbin's shoes. But they are making us wait at least a few more weeks.

Kelly Ripa has a new co-host

We have been waiting patiently for months to hear who the new co-host of Live! with Kelly will be.

And today they announced… we have to wait a little longer.

The announcement said that the show has decided on a new host, but we will have to wait until Sept. 4 to find out who it is. You would think this is when the season starts, but they are making us wait even longer than the first show.

"On Sept. 3, [Kelly] Ripa will kick off the new season of Live! by herself," said Meredith Blake with the Los Angeles Times. "The next day, the show will end months of frenzied speculation when Ripa's new partner finally joins her onstage.

"In November, longtime host Regis Philbin announced he would be leaving the show, and since then Ripa has co-hosted with 59 guest hosts," said Blake. Many of those were rumored to be interviewing for the job.

The most recent rumor was that Saturday Night Live head writer and actor Seth Meyers would be the host, but he quickly said that was not the truth.

Ripa appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and backed up Meyers' denial.

"When you see Seth Meyers in the morning, it is like looking at a vampire," Ripa told Fallon. "He's not ready — he's like, 'How do you do this everyday?'"

Meyers is not the only one who had been rumored to have the job.

"Also not in the running is Ripa's husband, actor Mark Consuelos," said Blake. "In an interview with Vanity Fair, the perky blond ruled out the possibility he'd join her on the show."

Other guest hosts that may have been considered for the job include Josh Groban, Kristin Chenoweth, Taye Diggs, Alec Baldwin, Jonah Hill and Neil Patrick Harris.

In June, Ripa even opened up the auditions to viewers around the country.

Guests on the all-important Sept. 4 show include actress Claire Danes and singer Phillip Phillips.

Tom Cruise devastated by Tony Scott's suicide

Tom Cruise — like all of director Tony Scott's friends and family — is heartbroken over his death. The actor spoke about his friend in a statement Monday.

Tony Scott , Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder

Tony Scott worked with many actors during his directing career, but he had a special relationship with Tom Cruise . The pair worked together on Top Gun and Days of Thunder — and they were starting work on Top Gun 2.

"Tony was my dear friend and I will really miss him," Cruise said Monday. "He was a creative visionary whose mark on film is immeasurable. My deepest sorrow and thoughts are with his family at this time."

Scott, 68, jumped to his death off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in the Los Angeles Harbor just after noon on Sunday, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. Rumors emerged that the British-born director suffered from inoperable brain cancer, but his wife reportedly told authorities that those rumors are "absolutely false," according to TMZ.

A note in his car detailed a list of people to contact about his death, while a longer suicide note left in his office reportedly detailed why he had decided to take his own life.

The most awful part of all: A boat full of tourists saw him jump — and many took photos and videos of it. Who wouldn't want photos of a man's suicide to add to their travel scrapbook?

"He landed right next to our tour boat, and many of us saw the whole thing," a boat rider told TMZ. Photos posted on the website show what appears to be Scott's body in the water near a boat.

As awful as it is, we could almost understand if he took his life because of brain cancer. But now we don't know what to think and it's just awful, especially since he had two small sons at home.

Wynonna Judd's husband, Cactus Moser, was in a terrible accident on Aug. 18. Early reports indicated the newlywed had been severely hurt but didn't detail the full extent of his life-altering injuries.

Wynonna Judd and Cactus Moser

Wynonna Judd's husband, Cactus Moser, has a very long road ahead to heal from his Aug. 18 motorcycle accident. A rep confirmed Monday he has undergone amputation after his leg was severed when his bike collided with another vehicle.

Cactus Moser, birth name Michael Scott Moser, and his wife of two months had been out for a ride on separate bikes in Deadwood, S.D., at the time of the accident. The singer was reportedly ahead of him when the life-altering crash occurred.

A rep for Wynonna Judd spoke to Us Weekly Monday, confirming the musician's left leg was "severed at the scene of the accident," and doctors at a hospital in Rapid City decided it was best to amputate above the knee.

"He has also undergone surgery to his hand," the rep added in a statement. "Judd and Moser appreciate all of the quick medical and police responders as well as the hospital staff and well-wishes from family, friends and fans."

The 48-year-old singer has postponed numerous concerts as a result of Moser's accident. "The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Michael J. Fox returns to TV with his own show

NBC won the bidding war over Michael J. Fox's new show — which will resemble his own life in more ways than one.

Michael J. Fox has a new show

It was just a few days ago that multiple television networks were reportedly in a "feeding frenzy" over Michael J. Fox's return to TV.

The new sitcom was reportedly co-written by Arrested Development writer Sam Laybourne. Beyond that, details were scarce.

But today, the new show was announced.

"Fox will star in a loosely autobiographical comedy about a husband and father of three from New York dealing with family, career and other life challenges — including Parkinson's," said Yvonne Villarreal with the Los Angeles Times.

And as for that feeding frenzy, it looks like NBC came out on top. The network signed Fox's new show with a 22-episode commitment, according to Villareal.

"To bring Michael J. Fox back to NBC is a supreme honor and we are thrilled that one of the great comedic television stars is coming home again," NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt said in a statement to Villareal. "From the moment we met with Michael to hear his unique point of view about this new show, we were completely captivated and on board."

Michael J. Fox's career may have come full circle. The 51-year-old actor spent seven years as Alex Keaton on NBC show Family Ties.

Since then, Fox starred in many movies before returning to TV in 1996 on Spin City . He left in 2001, two years after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He joined The Good Wife in 2010, a CBS show.

"I'm extremely pleased to be back at NBC with a great creative team and a great show," Fox told Villareal. "Bob Greenblatt and all the folks at the network have given me a warm welcome home, and I'm excited to get to work."

NBC is equally excited to be working with Fox. Though the actor has struggled with his disease, he has a lot of support.

"He is utterly relatable, optimistic, and in a class by himself, and I have no doubt that the character he will create — and the vivid family characters surrounding him — will be both instantly recognizable and hilarious. Being in business with him is a supreme pleasure," said Greenblatt.

Mariah Carey and No Doubt kick off 2012 NFL season

NFL is going all out to kick off its 2012 season. The hour-long concert takes place before the Dallas-Giants game on Sept. 5.

No Doubt will perform at NFL season opener

With all the pre-season games underway, it's hard to believe that football season doesn't officially start for a few weeks.

The Sept. 5 game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants will kick off the right way. Mariah Carey and No Doubt have signed on to perform before the game.

"Carey and No Doubt are set to perform live from Rockefeller Plaza before the New York Giants–Dallas Cowboys game at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey," said the Associated Press.

No Doubt is no stranger to playing for football fans. The band performed at the 2003 Super Bowl between the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even though drummer Adrian Young said he is a New Orleans Saints fan, he is still excited to perform.

Mariah Carey is equally happy to be there.

"Carey says she's thrilled to be performing in New York — which she called her hometown — and adds she's looking forward to making the season launch 'even more festive,'" said the AP.

The pre-game show will be a full hour and will begin at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Both artists are working hard at promoting their new music. Carey released her new single "Triumphant " on Aug. 14. No Doubt is planning a new tour and getting ready for their album release on Sept. 25. Push and Shove will be the first album they will have released as a band since 2001.

The band will be performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas four days before the release of their album.

Mariah Carey just signed on as a new host on American Idol. The singer will replace Jennifer Lopez on the show, who left earlier this summer.

The Sept. 5 NFL game is on a Wednesday night and will be followed by 12 Sunday Night Football games and two Monday Night Football games to kick off opening week of the 2012 season.

Russian activists sue Madonna for her gay rights stance

Madonna did more than just offend during her trip to Russia in early August. Some concert attendees are suing the singer for millions because of her pro–gay rights stance.

Madonna protested Russia's gay rights stanceMadonna made waves when she visited Russia earlier in August and protested against the country's strict gay rights stances.

Russian official tweets crude message to Madonna >>

"Anti-gay sentiment is strong in Russia," said the Associated Press. "In St. Petersburg, a law passed in February makes it illegal to promote homosexuality to minors, and the author of that law has pointed to the presence of children as young as 12 at Madonna's concert on Aug. 9."

Now some Russian activists are suing the singer because they feel offended over her support of gay rights.

Reportedly nine activitists are asking for a total of $10.5 million from Madonna, the concert promoter and the venue, said the AP.

"No one is burning anyone at the stake or carrying out an Inquisition," Alexander Pochuyev, the lawyer for the activists, said. "Modern civilization requires tolerance and respect for different values."

The activists did not believe that the singer was respecting their values.

"The complaint includes a video taken at the concert showing Madonna stomping on an Orthodox cross," said the AP, "and asking fans to raise their hands to show the pink armbands in support of gays and lesbians that were distributed among the audience."

Madonna also spoke out about the arrest of punk rock band Pussy Riot for "hooliganism."

"Maria Alyokhina, 24, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, 22, and Yekaterina Samutsevich, 30, stormed the altar of Russia's main cathedral on February 21 and sang a 'punk prayer' calling on the Virgin Mary to rid Russia of Putin," said Reuters, "who was then campaigning to return to the presidency after four years as Prime Minister."

Pussy Riot verdict sounds silly, but Putin doesn't joke around >>

After Madonna left the country, the three members of the band were sentenced to two years for the stunt.

Madonna responded to the verdict, urging "all those who love freedom to condemn this unjust punishment," said the AP.

The singer has not commented on the new lawsuit.

FX overdoes it with Charlie Sheen's Anger Management

Charlie Sheen's new comedy, Anger Management, has struck gold at FX, which just green-lit a huge order of future episodes. Charlie's not leaving TV anytime soon.

Charlie Sheen

How much Charlie Sheen do we really need? The FX cable network just made a huge investment in the actor's new show, Anger Management. Following its debut season, FX has ordered another 90 episodes.

How did Sheen score such a sweet deal? According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show's distribution contract states that if it hits a certain ratings threshold , it gets a 90-episode back order.

The specific ratings number is undisclosed, but the show maintained 4.53 million viewers its first nine weeks on air. Therefore, we assume the threshold is somewhere in the 3 to 4 million range.

FX boss talks Louie, Anger Management, Wilfred >>

FX Networks executive VP Chuck Saftler released a statement:

"We set a very high ratings bar that included some additional hurdles for Anger Management to earn its back-90 order, and the series met and exceed those metrics. [Creator] Bruce Helford has created a sitcom that works extremely well in our pre-10 p.m. programming lineup. Charlie Sheen and the entire cast did an amazing job in the first 10 episodes, which were produced in a very tight window. I have no doubt that the producers and cast will be able to pull off the Herculean task of producing 90 episodes over the next two years."

Anger Management will resume production Sept. 24, although its writers have been back since July. The new season is scheduled to premiere in January.

Aside from Sheen, the show stars Selma Blair and Shawnee Smith and will feature an occasional appearance by Martin Sheen as Charlie's dad. Surprise!

Are you ready for more Anger Management?

Rachel Weisz cut from her new film To the Wonder

The actress will not be appearing in her new film, but she's not the only one. To the Wonder was directed by a man notorious for hiring famous actors and cutting their parts after the film wraps.

Rachel Weisz won't be in To the Wonder

It's not often that A-list actresses are hired to do a film and then told their part is not needed. But Rachel Weisz is saying that's exactly what happened in the new film To The Wonder, directed by Terrence Malick.

"The reclusive director hired Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Olga Kurylenko, Javier Bardem, Rachel Weisz, Barry Pepper, Michael Sheen, Amanda Peet and even Jessica Chastain to co-star in the romantic drama about a man reconnecting with an old love, continuing Malick's tradition of loading his sets with incredible and varied talents," said the Huffington Post.

Rachel Weisz, who spoke with Lorenzo Soria of the Italian paper La Stampa about the film, seems to be keeping a positive attitude.

"It seems that my part has been cut," Weisz told Soria. "So I had the experience of working with him but I will not have the pleasure of seeing my work."

This is not a new practice for Malick. The director also cut Mickey Rourke, Gary Oldman, Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Sheen from the 1998 film The Thin Red Line, said the Huffington Post. He kept Adrien Brody in the film, but not in the way the actor expected.

"I was so focused and professional, I gave everything to it, and then to not receive everything... in terms of witnessing my own work. It was extremely unpleasant because I'd already begun the press for a film that I wasn't really in," Brody said back in 2001, according to the Huffington Post. "Terry obviously changed the entire concept of the film. I had never experienced anything like that."

But Weisz can take some solace in the fact that she isn't the only one cut from To The Wonder. According to Deadline.com, Barry Pepper, Michael Sheen and Amanda Peet were also cut from the final version of the movie.

A person close to the film told the website:

"It's just the way Terry works; it's not a reflection on anything other than the story."

To The Wonder doesn’t yet have a U.S. release date, but it will most likely be in theaters in 2013.

The family has made a pilgrimage to where the Jackson children were raised to celebrate his life — and the great things to come.

Paris and Prince Jackson

Aug. 29 marks what would have been Michael Jackson's 54th birthday, and his children and some other members of his family are celebrating by making the trek to the King of Pop's hometown — Gary, Indiana.

"The children, 14-year-old Paris and 15-year-old Prince Michael Jr., were given T-shirts by Gary mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson as they posed for pictures Wednesday at a casino overlooking Lake Michigan," said Fox News.

According to E! News, Blanket, Katherine, La Toya and T.J. Jackson are also in the town to celebrate Jackson's birthday.

Even with all the recent family drama, Jackson's children have obviously had their dad foremost in their minds. On Aug. 6, Paris Jackson posted a picture on Twitter of a "photo wall" she created for her father. "My new wall **took me 3 effing hours**," she tweeted, according to E! News. The wall included pictures of Michael Jackson at all stages of his career.

Three years after Michael Jackson's death, he's still showing up regularly in the news. His doctor, Conrad Murray, was found guilty and sentenced for involuntary manslaughter in the singer's death in November 2011.

Justin Bieber released a new song this year called "Die in Your Arms," and while performing the song on MTV in June, Bieber said it was about Jackson.

"Before I got in the booth, [Rodney Jerkins] showed me this hour-long video of Michael [Jackson] footage, never been seen before," Bieber told MTV. “It's Michael's personality, him in the booth dancing. It's some really special stuff."

Remaining Jackson 5 brothers unite for tour >>

Jackson's remaining brothers also embarked on their Unity Tour this year. Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Marlon kicked off that tour in June. Today the family tweeted: "Find a moment today to share peace, love, and serenity with the world," according to E! News.

A vigil was planned for today at the house where Michael Jackson and his siblings grew up and lived until 1969. Director Spike Lee has been working on a documentary about Jackson, called Bad 25, which will air on ABC on Thanksgiving.

Susan Sarandon plays the cougar

The 65-year-old actress has been seen out with her 34-year-old semi-pro ping-pong business partner a lot more recently, but they have reportedly been a couple for the past two years.

Susan Sarandon dates a much younger manSusan Sarandon is getting hers. The actress has been divorced from Tim Robbins for three years now, and she was seen this week out with a younger man. Rather, a much younger man.

"The Thelma & Louise actress was photographed indulging in some PDA with her... beau Jonathan Bricklin at the U.S Open in New York on Tuesday," said Yahoo!.

Bricklin is also Sarandon's business partner in her ping-pong bar business, SPiN, in New York. But the relationship isn't a new one. Sarandon and Bricklin have reportedly been together for two years, although Sarandon didn't confirm it until a few months ago. In an interview with People, she talked about her 34-year-old boyfriend.

But she didn't exactly call him her boyfriend. "Dating is such a stupid word," she told the magazine. "You can say we are collaborating in a lot of different areas."

The couple was said to be "collaborating" while watching the tennis tournament Tuesday.

"Bricklin... held Sarandon's hand and even massaged her shoulders while they sat in the stands and watched the ball get batted back and forth just as they often do at their business, albeit on a much larger court," reported Yahoo!. Bricklin seems to agree with Sarandon's definition of their relationship; his Facebook page has his relationship status listed as "It's Complicated."

Sarandon has played her share of cougars. She made a guest appearance on Friends, where she played a retiring soap star who hooked up with Joey . She also has a recurring role on 30 Rock, where she plays a recently released prisoner. The character is a teacher was sent to prison for falling in love with Frank when he was a child — and her student.

Sarandon was divorced in 2009, after a 23-year marriage to Tim Robbins, who at 53 is also much younger than the actress. The couple had two children together, now 22 and 19. But Sarandon also has a 27-year-old daughter, who is much closer in age to Bricklin than the 65-year-old actress.

Did Adele secretly get married?

The singer was seen out and about sporting a new gold band on her ring finger. But both Adele and her fiance are staying mum on the subject.

Adele -- married?

We all know Adele can keep a secret, as evidenced by how long it took us all to figure out that she was pregnant.

So it would come as no surprise to many to find out she got married without telling us. She and her fiance, Drop4Drop CEO Simon Konecki, have not talked about a wedding date as of yet, but Life & Style has said there will be photos of Adele wearing a wedding ring in the September issue.

Not just a rumor: Adele is pregnant! >>

"Adele and Simon managed to keep the baby news a secret for so long that there are rumors they've already gotten married, too," a source told Life & Style. "She's an old-fashioned girl and can't wait to be part of a family unit. She just wants to focus on the baby and the man she loves."

But when the magazine spotted her on her first outing since she announced the pregnancy, it snapped pictures of her sporting a gold wedding band on her ring finger.

Adele and Konecki have been dating since last summer, when they first met. "The fellow Brit is a former financier and co-founder of the U.K. bottled-water company Life Water," said MTV. "He also heads the company's charitable operative, Drop4Drop, which works to bring clean water to developing countries."

Adele has not commented on the photos yet. Her announcement of the pregnancy came on her website, but she has not updated that site since then.

The British singer performed "Someone Like You" at last year's MTV Video Music Awards, but with her pregnancy, she may not be attending this year. The awards ceremony takes place on Sept. 6, and Adele is up for one. Her album 19 came out in March and is still on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.

Heidi Klum might seem nice, but she's got some sass in her when it comes to her kids.

Heidi Klum and Seal divorce takes ugly turn

Remember the good ole days when Heidi Klum and Seal were making babies instead of getting divorced? Yeah, those days are long gone: The pair is currently at odds over some photographs the British singer took of their children, according to RadarOnline.

Basically, the German supermodel is upset Seal used the photographs in a Leica digital camera commercial without her permission.

Ex-girlfriend spills deets on Seal's "explosive" temper >>

"Heidi felt that the children had gone through enough since their parents split, and she didn’t want their private moments out there for the world to see," an insider said. "But Seal maintained he had every right to use his personal photos — and, moreover, that it was a done deal and out of his hands."

She eventually put her lawyers on the case and the photos were quickly removed.

Heidi Klum gives a sneak peek of her Halloween costume >>

"Heidi isn't trying to cause trouble," the source said, adding that Seal been dating around since their split earlier this year. "She’s just trying to protect her brood. Since she filed for divorce from Seal, he’s been out with more than one young woman, whereas Heidi hasn’t dated at all."

We're not sure what that has to do with anything, but OK. Klum was the one who wanted the divorce, while the "Kiss From a Rose" singer just wanted to stay together.

"You go into these things with the greatest intentions when you say 'I do' and you say ’till death do us part' — those vows hold value," he told Ellen DeGeneres after the news broke. "They are not just words. These things happen."

Heidi Klum's wild style: Glammed up and dressed down >>

Maybe Klum is a little jealous he moved on?

"She’s not interested in beginning another relationship right now. Her primary goal is getting the kids through the divorce and making sure they are healthy and happy," the source said.

LeAnn Rimes enters treatment for "stress"

The day after celebrating her 30th birthday, LeAnn Rimes checked into an in-patient treatment facility, says her rep, who assures us she's not there for an eating disorder or drugs. But LeAnn remains addicted to Twitter, at least, as she continues to tweet from the facility.

LeAnn Rimes treatment

On Thursday morning, LeAnn Rimes' rep, Marcel Pariseau, announced the singer, who just turned 30, voluntarily checked herself in to a 30-day in-patient treatment facility "to cope with anxiety and stress."

Marcel tried to strike down any rumors swiftly, adding : "While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

The crooner herself told the magazine: "This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be."

"All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much," she continues. "I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them."

Husband and actor Eddie Cibrian said he was "so proud" of his wife for "having the strength to take some time for herself.

"I will be with her every step of the way," he said.

Cibrian has often been spotted in pap snaps alongside Rimes, whose shrinking frame has prompted plenty of eating disorder rumors that the singer has vehemently denied via Twitter.

Rimes was apparently at the Twitter again, even from the treatment facility. In addition to retweeting messages and promoting performances , Rimes tweeted a portion of her astrology reading for Thursday, as news broke of her treatment: "There is a delicate balance between clearly stating your position and coming across as being overly critical. Pick the right situations to express yourself so you can avoid the need to correct any social errors."

It was a long and emotional goodbye for Robin Roberts on Good Morning America on Thursday, as the co-host announced she would be taking medical leave a day early to fly to Mississippi to be with her ailing mother and family in Hurricane Isaac's path.

GMA Robin Roberts

Surrounded by a studio full of staff holding signs that read #teamrobin, Good Morning America's Robin Roberts told viewers "this will be my final morning for awhile."

Roberts originally was scheduled to take medical leave after Friday's show to prepare for a bone marrow transplant to treat MDS, a rare blood and bone marrow disorder.

The host is leaving early to be with her ailing 88-year-old mother in Mississippi and other family in the path of Hurricane Isaac.

Roberts announced in June that she had MDS, a stunning revelation that came some five years after she won her public battle against breast cancer.

Much of the show's 8 a.m. hour was devoted to Roberts and the transplant process; she's receiving bone marrow from her sister.

GMA's staff also gave Roberts touching mementos, including a scrapbook, matching PJs for her and her sister, and the RC Cola she apparently loved to drink as a child.

"This is see you later, see you soon," Roberts said before signing off, defiantly. "I'll get back to you as soon as I can."

"To my GMA family, and my family there at home, I love you and I'll see you soon."

Susan WiggsSheKnows: You're active on Twitter : Tweet us a blurb about your latest novel, Return to Wilow Lake

Susan Wiggs: A family crisis brings Sonnet Romano back to Willow Lake where she comes face-to-face with her sweetest mistake... a guy she can’t seem to get out of her head.

SheKnows: You've written more books than we can count, you have a family and you even find time for hobbies like kickboxing! We always ask authors about balance -- what does it mean to you and how do you achieve it?

Susan Wiggs: I don’t have balance. I’m a mess, but I love it. I love juggling family, friends, fitness, food, work, play, travel... I’m not into self-deprivation, so I try to do it all. I’ve let go of even pretending to have balance. My excuse is that if you don’t have a life, you don’t have anything to write about. I play hard and work hard and hope for the best. I’ve substituted vinyasa yoga for kickboxing, but I stay active, biking, walking the dogs, watching “Smash” on the elliptical... Writing is so sedentary, it’s important to get up and move around.

SheKnows: You also blog regularly and include a lot of photos. Why do you feel it's important to share a personal side of yourself with your readers? Return to Willow Lake by Susan Wiggs

Susan Wiggs: I just love sharing and the Internet makes it easy. My readers are so open and funny, sending me emails and letters, giving me a glimpse into their lives. I’m blessed to live in a beautiful spot with an active family, and I love to travel, so the blog is an outlet for all that.

SheKnows: What are five things in your writing space that would give us some insight about you?

Susan Wiggs:

 1. A wind-up Nunzilla that trundles along, shooting sparks from her mouth
 2. A Nancy Pearl librarian action figure
 3. A glass dome paperweight with the saying “When you’re going through hell... keep going”
 4. A Clairefontaine grid-ruled notebook
 5. A fountain pen with extra cartridges of peacock blue ink

SheKnows: What are you reading right now?

Susan Wiggs: Once Upon a Time There Was You by Elizabeth Berg , a Brunetti mystery by Donna Leon and Imagine by Jonah Lehrer, about creativity. Queued up on my iPad: LOTS OF CANDLES, PLENTY OF CAKE, by Anna Quindlen. The Food Lover’s Guide to Sonoma, Journeys of a Lifetime: 500 of the World's Greatest Trips... to name a few.

SheKnows: You live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and enjoy your time outside, you garden, you read, you visit art exhibits. But c'mon, sometimes you just sit inside and watch bad reality TV, right? Tell us you have some vices...

Susan Wiggs: Vices... Lagavulin Scotch, squirt cheese on Ritz crackers and strawberry Newtons. Playing loud music. And I just saw The Avengers in 3D at the Cinerama. That was fun. The only TV series I watch is Smash on the iPad and the only reality show -- The Bachelorette. I never miss it because it is howlingly funny.

SheKnows: Are you working on your next book? If so, can you give us any hints?

Susan Wiggs: I think it’s going to be called The Apple Orchard and I’m obsessed with it. Two sisters who were born on the same day, but who’ve never met, a sun-drenched estate in Sonoma and a closet full of family secrets.

Pink's come a long, long way since a drug overdose in 1995. Revealing the experience that scared her off the illegal stuff for good, the singer boasts about her "F*** You" fund that allows her to say "no" anytime she damn well pleases.

Pink and Willow Hart

The depth of Pink's drug use history has come to light with the admission of an overdose in 1995. The life-changing experience helped the 32-year-old, now the healthy and wealthy mother to 15-month-old Willow, relate to her role as a sex addict in the upcoming movie Thanks for Sharing.

"Because I understand addiction," Pink explained of relating to her character, Dede, "I was a hard-core partyer from 12 to 15. on all the club drugs... selling ecstasy and crystal meth and Special K."

The singer's big wake-up call came when she was still just a teen. "I overdosed in '95," Pink revealed of her OD scare. "And then I never took drugs again, ever."

Pink heads to the big screen >>

Since that 1995 overdose, Pink's come a long way. Today, she's not only a proud mom to daughter Willow Sage and wife to Carey Hart, she's a businesswoman with a solid "F*** You" account to her name.

“When I first started, L.A. Reid said, ‘Make sure you put money into your F*** You account," Pink recalled to Entertainment Weekly of the advice her former label head shared long ago. "That’s the account that, one day when people ask you to do things you don’t want to do, you say 'F***you.' I make sure that my F*** You account is OK, so that you never have to make decisions based on money. I feel like that’s where people kill their careers."

Pink's new album will tell us the truth about love >>

Thanks to her offensively named yet remarkably awesome fund, Pink, whose album The Truth About Love is due out Sept. 18, has had no problem turning down reality television offers thrown her way.

"It’s not gonna happen," the singer said. "It’s not that I don’t want to do one, it’s just out of spite for everyone else doing one and it being so f***ing annoying. I believe that ours would be very entertaining, but no thank you.

"I’ve been asked to do American Idol and X Factor. I’m an Ed McMahon kind of girl. Star Search? I’m in, all day long. It felt more authentic, and the market wasn’t oversaturated with karaoke contests. It’s just not for me."

Chad Johnson back on Twitter binge: "Don't feel bad for me"

After taking an uncharacteristic break from Twitter following his arrest for allegedly head-butting ex Evelyn Lozada, football/reality TV star Chad Johnson is back on the social networking site in a big way, lamenting over jobs lost and starting all over again as a 34-year-old free agent.

Chad Johnson Madden

As of Thursday morning, all fallen-from-grace football player Chad Johnson had tweeted was a strange, "Hello from Mars," after going on a Twitter binge over the past 24 hours.

Johnson appears to be referring to an alien world where he can't get any love. His wife from a blink-and-you-miss-it marriage, Evelyn Lozada, is gone. His stint with the Miami Dolphins was cut short and, to add salt to the wound, he was fired from the team as cameras rolled.

But it was the lack of his likeness on the Madden 13 game that set off his latest string of tweets.

On Monday, the six-time pro bowler formerly known as Chad Ochocinco wrote: "That awkward moment when you realize you're not on Madden13 and have to create yourself…"

Ouch!

New England Sports Network paints a sad picture of a man formerly on top of the world who didn't find out that he wasn't featured in the latest installment of the game until he actually sat down to play it for himself. Like the rest of us, he has to create his own likeness to play the game.

So it seems not only has he been cut in real life, but he's even been cut out of the virtual world!

The 34-year-old got his share of sympathy from some of his 3.7 million followers, but he was having none of it.

"Don't feel bad," he wrote, responding to a fan. ""My black a** messed up, I made the bed now I gotta lay n it."

The tweet comes almost three weeks after he was arrested for allegedly head-butting wife Evelyn Lozada, who quickly filed for divorce from Johnson.

"I got to start life over and create a new one," Johnson wrote Wednesday, referring to a biography that he apparently deleted.

The new Beauty and the Beast puts a twist on the traditional damsel-in-distress fairy tale. Changing the forbidden castle into a police playground of NYC’s hazardous streets, this show highlights the bad-a** female lead we all wish to be. With the help of a hunky co-star who mysteriously watches over her, this sexy NYPD officer blurs the lines between police work and personal life.

Synopsis:

Beauty and the Beast is a brand-new show on The CW, loosely based on the fairy tale we all loved growing up. It takes the romance and love scenes to the next level between the two characters in a modern-day New York City atmosphere. Catherine “Cat” Chandler is a NYPD detective who is haunted by the murder of her mother who was gunned down before her eyes one night nine years ago. Cat would have also been shot if not for a mysterious creature that killed the men seconds before they could pull their triggers. Doctor-turned-Army veteran Vincent Keller was linked to one of Cat's recent cases, and many questions arise as a result.

In this action-packed series, Vincent and Cat get close and problems ensue because of the secret she needs to keep for him. With fight scenes that are sure to please any adrenaline junkie, this new series creates an edgier version of the original happy-go-lucky Beauty and the Beast.

Beauty and the Beast is set to premiere Thursday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. Central.
